About as much as I would expect from a book about excel (which is not bad at all, I always have high expectations and this book met them). Everything was easy to grasp, I learned a couple of new things. The only issue I have, apart from not being able to read clearly the images (might be formatting problem on my device), are the way-too complex formulas stuffed in one cell, which were used sometimes throughout the book. I get that this looks cooler, but such formulas are difficult to read by others and by yourself too after some time passes and you forget what you've done or how to troubleshoot in case something doesn't work. As with programming, I prefer to stick to having multiple cells with simple formulas rather than one cell with multiple nested formulas.

Nice Read, Great Format

The author kept it simple, which is great for an average person. If a person does not know much about Excel, this book will teach you the basics of creating formulas. Formulas are what makes Excel fun. Once a person learns how to do this, that person can be very creative. Even though it was long, most people will feel informed and have a sense of accomplishment after reading the whole book.

Has an abundance of functions for excel. Should be something in here to help you get your data looking great and accurate. A go to reference book to keep by my desk at all times.
