Beautiful artwork. I found the imagery to be resonant and full of depth for readings. I deducted one star because I didn't find the book and card descriptions particularly helpful. I got so much more from just looking at the cards than reading about them. Overall an inspiring deck.
This review isn't of the cards, but just of the book. It's small, colorless and paperback. The beginning of the book has the usual information that oracle cards have; reason, advice, spreads etc. I must say I really didn't like the book. The main direction the book takes is how to meditate with each card. This detracts from the oracle perspective, since whenever I do a spread (particularly 5 card spreads from the book) all of those meditations seem pointless. After the meditations you can do journal work or suggested activity (which is sometimes as simple as breathing in sunlight) which I do find somewhat helpful but not really useful from an oracle perspective. The journal suggestions are useful from a self help perspective though. It's really not a deck to ask questions about anything besides yourself, and should be approached as a type of interactive self help instead of an oracle deck. That being said I still love my deck, and I want to find my own way to interact with the cards, somewhat using the book, but mostly by my own need and fulfillment.
