whenever I take long break from reading and after a while I want to start reading again, it becomes a boring activity for me because for a period of time I have been consuming idiot box and watching films over many weeks. Then I require to restructure my brain. So I start to read comics and stories that I loved to read in my childhood days. It makes me fall in love with the habit of reading.

Here in this book there are totally 3 stories
1 the brave pig(leadership)
2 the deer's disciple(good son and samaritan attributes)
3 the golden crab(friendship)
4 the faithful sumukh(friendship and pay your debt)

these stories at the end do not have any box that says " moral of the story" but it is implicit in the stroy in forms of conversion, language and charater of the characters.

+1st story talk about the leadership quality with a calm mind. even in the tough time always try to come up with the strategy. Unity in power.

+2nd story- a deer Nandika let it self in danger so its parents can live peacefully. Even in life threatening situation Nandika decided to face the music because of its promise. when he cannot away with his life Nandika stays for making others life better. It give a message to create samaritan.

+3rd story- The crab return the favour by capturing the enemies of his friend. In difficult situations it gives movement of freedom to enemy but never allow them to have total freedom that teaches how to handle enemies. at the end he did not spare the enemies that remind me if that sanskrit shloka that says " never leave your enemy, fire, disease and debt unfinished otherwise they will re-emerge.

+4th story- the name of the king swan was "Dhritrastra". that was bit strange because in this kind of stories name matters a lot. from the beginning I was having not so good notion about the king because of his name. But he let him in danger and make sure his herd get food and water. So I think only the decision he took in the beginning is the reason for his name(blind decision without proper research). this story teaches about loyalty and teaches to always pay your debt. If someone helps you always try to return the favour.(for instance- if you take vehicle, fill the tank attire of returning it).

The stories in this book appear to teach the benefit of supporting your communities and seem to be good stories to read with your children to better develop morals and values in their young minds.
