The cartoons in this volume are two to four panels, rather than the single panel more often associated with print cartoons. The cartoons themselves are fairly simple, which makes sense as they are intended for children. That does not mean an adult will not enjoy them, unless said adult is the nose in the air sophisticated wit only type. The art is fairly simple, which of course it should be for the intended audience. The book has a notation on the dust jacket that reads G 1-4, so I am presuming that is the audience this book is for. Of course older readers who refuse to grow up are also likely to enjoy this book as well. I certainly did. All in all a fun book. Recommended, even if the only reason I read it was because it was in a box I was unpacking and it was time for a coffee break. Actually now that I think of it that is a great time to read a book like this.
