Just when I thought I escaped hell, I walked straight into another form of it. The things that I had never thought possible to exist, actually do. The creatures that your parents told you fables about as a small child are real. Only, I have an inkling that many don’t know the truth behind the stories of werewolves, vampires and more.
All those years held captive…l never truly opened my eyes to all the things that happened around me. I blocked out the truth as a way to protect myself to believe that there was something better, only there wasn’t. There never was.
There is more to this world than I could ever fathom, full of things that I could only conjure up in a dream or nightmare. The fact remains, it’s all real and I want nothing to do with any of it.
But it doesn’t matter what I want, because the choice was made for me. I have to face this reality whether I want to or not. I just fear the things coming my way, for this is only the beginning.
HOLY SHITTTTT. I deeply needed this book. The ending of Twin Flame left me begging for more, and more importantly, left me with a TON of questions! I am sooo happy to say that all of your questions get answered in this book. HALLELUJAH!
I've been deeply craving some paranormal writing, and with Kindred Soul we get all forms of creatures. IT'S SO EPIC! We learn so much in the book about who everyone is, especially Oksana and Hadley. There's just so much that I don't even know where to begin! I was really happy to learn more about Oksana and Wyatt, and even more happy to find out what Killian's purpose was. At this point though, I feel awful for Elliot because I'm not sure what his purpose is in this story. It almost feels like he's being left out, and that make me hurt for him.
We definitely have some interesting additions with everything we find out and Lynx entering the picture. Of course, we can't be left without more questions too! The endings of these books have bene pretty explosive. I absolutely LOVED how much action was in this book! For me, I really love when a paranormal book has some action to it, it like takes it to a new level. This book was definitely taken to a new level wit hall of the crap that Archer has thrown their way and I CANNOT wait to see what comes next!!
I read Twin Flame and I was still slightly confused and it took me about a third of the way into the book to really capture my interest. Oksana finally finds her way out of captivity with the help of twin very sexy rare werewolves, Wyatt and Elliot, but she isn’t out of the woods yet. In comes Killian, a vampire and hunter, who’s father held Oksanna and committed atrocious acts on her. Can they all get along for the benefit of Oksanna?
Wow!! What a great paranormal romance!! The chemistry between the characters is off the charts. It's definitely action packed and full of alpha hotness!!! It left me wanting more!! Can't wait for the next book!!!
Oh heck yeah, this was SO worth the wait!! Kindred Soul picks up right where Twin Flame (Otherworld #1) ended.
Killian is one bad a$$ vampire but not like the rest of them. He is a sexy hunter and has been called upon by his father to find a specific girl. Little did he know who this girl truly was until he got his first taste.
Wyatt and his twin Elliot are strong, powerful, rare werewolves. Wyatt has just rescued his mate from a very evil vampire but knows something is off about her. Not being born a werewolf he doesn’t have all the answers he needs just yet.
Oksana has been held captive for 7 years and has just been auctioned off to the highest bidder, a man she is instantly pulled toward. Now that she is free and confused she must trust this man and his brother if she wants to stay safe and alive. A lot has changed in last 7 years but one thing has remained the same and that is a bond of true friendship.
Since the very last sentence of Twin Flame I read months ago I have been waiting for this story and I am so glad I did!! Brynn Burke has done a fantastic job on making me feel what ever character was feeling and some jaw dropping twists. I found myself hysterically laughing during parts, screaming in others and excited/panicked in some. Questions were answered for sure and new ones formed that will have me waiting patiently (or not) for book 3 in the Otherworld series. Again, thank you Brynn for introducing me to the wonderful wold of paranormal and supernatural beings!! I am a forever fan now!! 🖤🔥🧚🏻♀️🔥🖤
Let me start off by saying that I hadn't read Twin Flame before I started Kindred Soul, so I was a little out of my element when I first picked up the book. BUT after I read Twin Flame, I was hooked and couldn't get back to this book fast enough! Oksana has finally found her way out of captivity thanks to the super sexy twin werewolves Wyatt and Elliot, but she's not out of the blue because here comes Killian, the broody kickass vamp whose father has inflicted atrocious pain on Oksana over the years. Together, they each begin to slowly develop their supernatural abilities and, thanks to a few new characters sprinkled along the way, begin to realize there is so much more to their connection than what lies on the surface. Be prepared for very steamy scenes and literally otherworldly awesomeness. Any fan of supernatural and paranormal romances will certainly appreciate this story because Brynn has definitely stayed true to traditional vampire and werewolf lore while putting her own twist on certain elements. Overall, this was a quick read but well worth it and I can't wait to read the next installment.
OMG what a great read Kindred Soul by Brynn Burke is. This is the second book in the Otherworld series. This is a PNR book. I was not a fan of PNR books until I read this book. It has totally changed my opinion. This is the story of Killian, Wyatt and Oksana. Oksana was held for seven years and then sold at auction. Killian is a vampire and hunter searching for Oksana, who is his soul mate. Wyatt and his twin brother are a rare breed of werewolves and were the ones who bought Oksana at the auction. Oksana is also Wyatt’s soul mate. Killian and Wyatt have sworn to protect Oksana from her enemies. I did not read the first book in this series by am going to go back and read. This was an amazing story and I can’t wait for the next book. This book has highs and lows, fighting, killing, vampires and werewolves, humans. It is an emotional rollercoaster. I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend it. I can't wait to read the next book by Ms. Burke.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. We pick up right where we left off. Killian is amazing! Yes, he’s a vampire and dangerous but you can’t help yourself. With the help of the twins, Oksana finds her way back after all the pain she’s endured at the hands of Kilian’s father. You will be sucked into their world and not be able to put this book down. Their story is suspenseful, thrilling and will keep you on the edge of your seat. Great read, loved and highly recommend it.
Kindred soul by Brynn burke This book pretty much carries on where twin flames left off. Oksana though she had escape years of hell and torture at the hands of a monster and now feels she walk in to a world of vampires and werewolves the. She finally reunited with her best friend to then discover that she is he sis and they come from the another world and there capture son and one of the twins that saved her are both her mates. Aboustly loved this book was full of action and suspense
This one started slow for me and took me a while to get into. There is a lot that does happen later on in book .... Archer is a douche and Killian tells him its the last time he will do it. When Killian runs into Wyatt and Elliot and they have Oksana and he knows she's his mate but he'll have to share. Its some drama and confusion and in the end still not sure what's gonna happen next.
this book was really great! she just wanted out the hell she has been living in for years. now she has escaped but right back into another hell. this one has werewolves and vampires.these two are very important to her life. you must read to find out why.
I've read a lot of paranormal books over the years, but nothing like this. I loved every part of this book. Certain points making me happy and others making me as frustrated as the characters were. I'm so emotionally invested in Otherworld and can't wait to see what happens next!
