Good read

A plot that is actually a bit too nitty-gritty for me. But it was well constructed and although you knew the culprit from the start still a good read. However if must admit that I prefer books that you have to guess the culprit. Nice build up to the characters and they soon became real.
She had moved bakery home to open an area shop. A quick visit to the post office turned into a nightmare when the mayor robbing the pawnbrokers run into her. A quick sketch on the sidewalk led to her meeting up with an old school friend of her brother's and the man who had crushed her young heart. But will the sketchbook enough to catch the thief? A robbery gone wrong with her fiance ending up shot, meths, a string of thefts and drugs, intimidation and a kidnapping are mixed into an earthy read that really has more grit then I like. But will it lead to the killer?
