Chloe Garner is back with yet another great tale, Hooligans, which asks the much feared question: what happens if the hallucinations and paranoia, the things that go bump in the night, are real? This is a wild trip. I feel for Robbie, for Lizzie and, yes, for Lara, but I totally enjoyed this tale nonetheless. Well written and perfectly plotted, I am sure that I’m not the only one who will reach that conclusion. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend.
I have had this book in my tbr list for a while and I’d almost forgotten it. I have loved ALL of Chloe’s books so far but this one was a little different in storyline and concept. So I had to put my trust in her and her creation. Well I’m glad I did. This was truly one of the best fantasy books I have read. I was so absorbed by it I was willing the main character Lizzie to succeed so much to overcome all the odds that were thrown at her . It’s a complete standalone with no cliffhanger. I never wanted to recommend a book so much. Be like me, trust in Chloe’s ability to create an outstanding book. I was not disappointed and I’m sure you won’t be.
