This is a story of how four completely different individuals, somehow find themselves together.
In Cuffed by a Black Billionaire, you were introduced to Kenzo. In this standalone, you get to familiarize yourself with La’Kenzo Rogers. Kenzo may seem like the average hustla, handsome, charming, and loaded pockets. But there was so much more to La’Kenzo Rogers. As normal as he seemed, he was everything but normal. Suffering tragedy, after tragedy, Kenzo became numb, and decided to continue on life without addressing and healing from the pain in the past. Niatia Bridge was very familiar with heartbreak. She was young, stunning, and ambitious, until she ran into the wrong man. Her light, that used to shine so bright, was being dimmed by the darkness that she was wrapped in. Losing herself in a man was never her plan. Can she escape the darkness so that she can soar like she was supposed to? Or will she succumb to that dark cloud hanging over her life?
E’mauri “Lucci” Lewis, was a young, reckless, handsome hustla. Lucci was lost in this cold world, with no one to guide him. Being abandoned at such a young age, has caused him to be somewhat rebellious. He begins to get it by any means, and eventually, is forced to sit down and listen. Linking up with someone who he looked up to in the past, he’s able to see life in a different light, and move differently. But the thing about the past is, it always catches up to you. Is it too late for Lucci, or will he be able to right his wrongs?
Au’Brielle Scott was practically born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Before she could decide what she wanted to do with her life, her family had already laid it out for her. Going through the motions in life, she finally cracks, and realizes she’s not living, she’s merely existing. She has an option of following her dream, or continuing to be a puppet. Will Au’Brielle make it out the miserable life she’s existing in and finally take a leap of faith? Or will she be too afraid of finally standing on her own?

This was nice!
All the men and their issues did not subtract from them being the loving alpha men they were for these fierce women. I love it. And the sex scenes blew my kindle up. I can't wait for another installment, these are hot and it feels like some things are still loose. Such as Kenzo's new in laws... What's up with those threats?!?!

Different and a bit confused...but all was Gucci at the end!!!
This book was different to some of MS. Khadijah's work and style, yet still came back full circle.
La'Kenzo "Kenzo" and Au'Brielle "Brielle" started it out as the main couple. Kenzo finally got his story and sure enough, he didn't disappoint. I thought for sure he was going to be with Shianne from the other book, but Brielle was just up his alley. Very quiet, alpha, direct and beautiful soul, Kenzo suffered from everything that ever happened to him in his younger age, but still find a way with the help of his people, to turn everything around for him.
Brielle, well now that's my girl. I love tattoos and for her to be this dope artist already made her number one with me. Smart, intelligent and a sweetheart, she was exactly what Kenzo needed to tame his storm.
Now, although Kenzo and Brielle were the it couple, I believe E'Mauri "Lucci" and Niatia were actually the main couple with everything that was going on in their lives. Lucci and Kenzo grew up together, lost sight of each other, got reunited in their early teens, then lost sight again, but after their last stunt, Lucci came back around and be with Kenzo. Lucci, him, well this the man right here. Alpha, goofy, sexy, and boss man, this man had everything and would do anything for his woman and his brothers and kids.
Niatia, was so gullible at the beginning and so naive, but when she met Lucci, she got together fast and started to live her life the right way. Not looking too intelligent at first, but very Independent, she learn how to make her intelligence shine thru though, and became a wonderful lady.
This story was different, because while most of MS. Khadijah's book will be very partial into showing the rough side and the boss side of her heroes, her heroines usually will take a step back and be mentioned for the support and undying love they have for their man. This story well, didn't divulge too much in the business side but rather in the emotional side of the heroes and heroine and show for once the heroine being bosses in their own right. You knew they work, but no other explanation was given; you knew they were alpha, kingpin, but nothing was explain until tragedy strike and brought out the big man out... It was so refreshingly different...
Vash was something else and everyone should have a Vash in their lives. Zion was a trip and hearing about Yanni and Kentrell was so cool (can't believe she was still pregnant~~lol) -- the parents were so bad, I thank god, that I never had to experience this but know this is how most parents could be with their children...

Learning to Love
I love how Kenzo and Lucci built a strong brotherhood while in foster care and reconnected to make money together as adults. Neither knew what love was but learned how to love the boss women that they fell in love with. Au’Brielle never received love from her parents who just wanted to control but La’Kenzo eventually came around and showed her how real love felt. Niatia was used and abused at a young age and she experienced what true love was from Lucci. I was glad that Trell, Aliyanna, and Pierre was in this book as well. I want to read more about Vashae and Shy's relationship too.

Great Read
Enjoyed this book from beginning to end and I couldn't put it down. Loved the sisterhood with Au'Brielle, Niatia and Vash, they really had each other's back. So glad that Au'Brielle, Kenzo, Niatia and Lucci finally found love and got their happy ending. It's still a lot of unanswered questions still lingering around, and I can't wait to see how it all unfolds. Definitely, wanna find out and read about the Jewellz Brothers. Each book gets better and better. Highly recommend this standalone. Job well done Khadijah J.

Loved It!
I'm glad opposites attract, but it can truly mean that sometimes the grass is not all that green on the other side. It doesn't matter where you come from, because there could be tragedy, trials and tribulations no matter if your rich or poor. It all matters on how you build your character, personality and what the soul possesses. I'm just glad these four individuals didn't stop trying to live their best lives, because of negativity they dealt with as adolescence. I'm glad they are living their happily ever after together. What’s next?
I can’t wait to see what’s next! I fell in love with Aubrey quickly. She had such a sweet personality and her happiness seeped through the book once she started tattooing and following her dreams. I love the sisterhood Vash, Niatia, and Au’Brielle formed. Both Kenzo and Lucci had a reason to not know how to love. It was nice to see them meet women that could melt the ice around their hearts.

let me start off, I just binged read your whole catalog and it was amazing. I like how the stories are linked and questions weren't left unanswered. now Shyne a clown and deserve what he got. nia god give some the toughest battles because he know what they capable of, but her sister and momma garbage. Kenzo and E wow they done been through some thangs and the outcome wow. Bri sad that neither one of her parents worth a nickel

Dope read!
From start to finish, this book held my attention. I loved Kenzo & Angel's relationship and I'm glad they finally got it together. Mike definitely got what he deserved for what he did to Lucci's fam. The supporting characters were dope & I liked how they didn't overshadow the main characters. And don't get me started on the sex scenes. Whew Chile! Great job Khadijah!

It gets better and better
Man I loved this book. Both men damaged as children and didn't know how to love but found it with Brielle and Nautia. Both women were in a bad place and stumbled up on the men that was just right for them. Your writing is getting better and better. I just love it because they are stand-alones. Ready for what's next.

Lucci was my favorite out of both the guys lol. Nia know she should have told Lucci what was going on. Brielle better not had went back to Aaron. I dont trust her mom. Kenzo had me hott with him for real. I also sympathized with him and his story. Looking forward to what's next.

At first I couldn’t get in the groove with this book and then the way the time jumped from like days to weeks and months later had me thinking something was missing. But all in all the storyline was great I cant wait for part 2

I love Kenzo Story ♥️ I thought he was gonna end up with Shi from the book with Ken & Yanni. It was good to read about them and I see she’s pregnant again lol. I’m happy all the men & ladies got their happily ending.

Great Great Read
