This little book is full of very useful suggestions for how to use mind maps in planning, recording customer data for quick review, making notes of lectures or reading, etc. Excellent tools. Also contains illuminating exercises that make you understand how memory works - and doesn't.
I like Tony Buzan's books on Mindmapping, especially the ones for children. Although this book does not fit into the children's category it does meet a need that Buzan's books does not meet precisely; that of simplicity. So he spends time focusing on nouns and picture words, emphasising how mindmapping can aid memory. Particualrly helpful is the last chapter on applications, where the author relates mind mapping to study planning, diary management, financial planning, meetings and budgets. A special bonus is the book summary at the end.
