Scott H. Andrews is a writer of science fiction. He teaches college chemistry. He is Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of the fantasy magazine Beneath Ceaseless Skies.
Andrews's short stories have appeared in Weird Tales, Space and Time, Heroic Fantasy Quarterly, On Spec, Crossed Genres, and M-Brane SF.
The first story didn't do it for me. I can see people liking it more than me-it seemed interesting enough. Similar in some respects to that first "Dark Tower" book I suppose. I found the language all a bit stilted and it dragged in the middle. I lost interest and, as it is a long story and had no end in sight, I skipped the back half. It's possible the back half would've turned it around.
The second one was alright. But I can't come up with anything to say about it, so take that for what it's worth.
