A delicate illustrated story that emerges from the oral tradition of the northwestern Piedmont, Italy, when wolves and foxes came down from the mountains to the colorful folk tales of the elders and charming, then as now, children capable of dreaming.
My Italian is bad, that is what I learned. The story is pretty nice but I felt like it lacked a resolution in a way… I wish the fix would have come back with some sort of a revenge and the wolf would have shown the fox why he is the better animal… the water dump kinda lacked suspense and catharsis for me. The bilingual version is good for language learners!
