A solid issue. The first story is good. Not really my thing as I recall (I'm writing this a while after I read it), but I remember it, in broad strokes. The setting was interesting enough, although some of what happens is a bit weird or contrived as I recall.
The second one was pretty darn good. It brought to mind, at least in some tone and setting respects, "The Tomb of Atuan." The plot, at least in my memory, takes a backseat to setting and feel, and it nailed those aspects.
