Twice Exceptional Kids provides strategies for all educators and parents interested in providing the appropriate education for these special children and helping them achieve to their fullest potential.
This was an informative book. It is a short, quick read. I think I was hoping for more practical hands-on information about what types of accomodations and suggestions are available to get put into an IEP. This book covered numerous secondary diagnosis of 2E children such as Asperger's, ADHD, Autism/PDD, Dyslexia, etc. The author's tips for parents and teachers at the end of each section is certainly very good advice, but very basic. There were a great deal of helpful resources and websites at the end of the book.
