24 pages. This is a great series for comparing similar animals. The photos and diagrams are outstanding. I really liked the two-page comparison of these animals. Kids could definitely use this for a report or recreational reading. Highly recommended for Grades 1-3.

Not 100% accurate, although admittedly a tough subject, since all tortoises are turtles, but not all turtles are tortoises and terminology varies by country and words are made up, anyways.

This is a decent short book for children about the differences and similarities between turtles and tortoises. The public generally believes they are a single thing called turtles, but that is not true.
