I feel privileged to have attended three opera performances in the Semperoper in Dresden, Germany, in 1990 and 1991: La Bohème by Puccini, Cosi fan tutte and die Zauberflöte by Mozart. So I had the opportunity to see the magnificent interior of this building. It certainly is astonishingly impressive to observe the quality of the craftmanship that resulted in the present reconstruction. (The building was burnt down in early 1945 during the Second World War.) And this booklet, consisting of text till page 16, while the further 64 pages are filled with photographs, gives witness of the cultural wealth of the builing and surroundings. Nice. JM
