Bigfoot Frightening Encounters
Following the release of his best selling series, "Living Among Bigfoot", author Tom Lyons was contacted by several individuals who were eager to discuss their own encounters with the mysterious sasquatch species. After realizing how cathartic it is not only to share his own experiences, but also to hear the encounters of others, he compiled this volume with the help of many folks who were brave enough to share their life-altering stories. This book also features never before seen photos of the sasquatch species, submitted by an individual who resides in Catalonia. The photos are displayed in color only in the eBook edition, however the eBook is free to download with the purchase of the paperback.

You can call me crazy, laugh at me, ridicule me or just plain out make fun of me all you want but the truth is that I have believed in and been fascinated by Bigfoot ever since I was a boy of 8 or 9 years old. I've watched movie and tv documentaries and read numerous books on the subject and have always been thrilled by the eyewitness accounts I've read from people who have sighted this creature.
Apparently Tom Lyons feels the same way that I do because he has managed to compile 12 volumes of these accounts. Twelve! I just finished volume 1 and absolutely loved it. Am I going to read all twelve volumes? You're darn right I am! It's time to get my Squatch on!

One of my favorite lines I’ve heard/read about Bigfoot says something like this: if you don’t believe that Bigfoot is real, can you at least agree that there is something out there that many people have seen that they can’t explain?
The stories in this book come from everyday people who have seen or experienced something they can’t explain within the parameters of “accepted” animals. As one of the other reviewers mentioned, I appreciate the strait forwardness of the stories and that the stories are clearly not embellished beyond what the original authors have written.
I’m thankful to Tim Lyons for compiling these writings and sharing them in this book. I look forward to reading more of them. That being said, I don’t know if I will read them all. It’s just not the kind of book that you “can’t put down” and a little expensive for a 125 page book.

Straightforward accounts
These eyewitness accounts are simply told without any effort to make them moreb
dramatic than they already are. They are told by ordinary folks in an ordinary way. Even Jane Goodall has said that there is probably a giant ape living in America's wild lands, and the thousands of eyewitness accounts are similar to accounts by people who encountered gorillas in Africa before they were documented. This is a very short book, almost a booklet, but I hope Tom is able to collect more eyewitness accounts and publish them.

Very interesting accounts
What I found in the stories were two notable characteristics I have seen in other accounts that may explain why there are so few trail cam photos. The creatures seem to be able to see infra-red light. Another characteristic appears to be their aggressively loud vocalizations and low frequency growls that seem to confuse, momentarily stun, and incapacitate their prey...in this case humans. I liked these accounts!

Interesting stories from sincere people who are sharing some frightening experiences. These encounters add more and more evidence to a sum of facts that we cannot ignore. There is an unknown creature out there that must be captured and identified
Have we failed to bring in a specimen because we somehow feel a kin to these wild beasts? Looking forward to the day when these stories can be justified.

Big foot
There is life out there that we may never know how or where it came from different colors actions and howls/screams and interactions with never seem good man gets scared and seems always has to shoot at it still no bodies to see up close I believe there may b a reason why these creatures r so elusive

Bigfoot
I believe in Bigfoot. I have never encountered one... however I live in the Pacific northwest if l ever do see one , I pray we are far enough apart that we both can ease our curiosity and not be threatened by each other!

It was alright.
This book was fun, but I could have done without the personal ads put throughout. Just put them in the beginning, ya know? As much as I enjoyed all the stories I wouldn’t say it’s a five star book.

Chilling
Scary stories of Big foot encounters. It’s a good thing I don’t hunt and do not live in a remote area. The tales sound like honest reporting by people who have actually had encounters with this creature. Scared the living daylights out of me.

Very well told stories of Bigfoot encounters which are very detailed . Keeps you wanting to read more.l

3.5 stars. It was fast a paced book, I finished it VERY quickly. BUT I wish it wasn’t called “frightening encounters”.
Because it wasn’t frightening. It was more interesting stories.

New Collection of Bigfoot Encounters
This is the first in a new series from author Tom Lyons. After being brave enough to share his Bigfoot story, it has encouraged others to come forward as well. I love how the power of a book can bring people together. Tom decided that others might enjoy reading some of the stories that were shared with him and he is correct. Many cryptid lovers will enjoy these odd and unusual encounters. I will look forward to more stories from the author and others. This series is also being released on audio. Narrator is good.
