Those words are burned on my brain.

When Rex, a billionaire businessman, gets a look at Cherisse's lip gloss product on his assistant's desk, he's intrigued enough to research her company. Then when he sees her pic on the website, he knows he has to have her. So he sets about getting her, and her company. But, things go wrong and suddenly they're on the outs. She still needs an investor, though, and since she and Rex are on the outs, why not take on an investor that Rex hates? Can't hurt, right?

Wrong...

I liked Bossing Me once it picked up about a quarter of the way in. At first it was slow, and honestly I never warmed to Rex's arrogance and controlling ways, but their story is engaging and entertaining, and their chemistry is hot. I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future.

Bossing Me was such an enjoyable read. It was funny and sexy with an ending that left a smile on my face.

Rex March is a no nonsense self-made billionaire who strives to dominate his industry. So when he gets wind of a up and coming product with the potential to become a strong competitor, he takes it upon himself to step in and invest. He saw so much potential he couldn’t pass up a chance at getting involved.

Cherry Clements is a driven entrepreneur with a new product people are falling in love with and so new, she’s struggling to keep up with its growing popularity. So having Rex come in with an offer to help was an offer she couldn’t pass up. But she wasn’t prepared for him to be so freaking bossy. She was much too headstrong to stand back and allow it.

They clashed at nearly every turn, but his controlling personality and her stubbornness only fueled their attraction to one another and led to high levels of sexual tension. It was the perfect blend of angst and passion -not overly so- within the characters’ story; which I greatly enjoyed.

I’ve read quite a few novels from Sloan Storm and one common trend I’ve noticed and come to love is how her Heroes, though a bit demanding, bossing and a tad controlling, are driven to raise up their heroines. In no way are they coming in to just swoop in and save they day. No, these guys are there to protect, but ultimately their goal is point her in the right direction and watch her soar. That isn’t a common aspect in many of the romance novels I come across and is something that stands out when I read this author’s work. It’s impressive and admirable to have a tad bit of inspiration mixed in with my smut 😉.

Very entertaining. Lust, ruthless business, and double POV in a relationship that feels more like a crazy rollercoaster than a romance.

I enjoyed the business part where this big rich CEO saves the day of a struggling family-owned company with loads of money, bossy attitude and pushy demands. Oh, yeah, this man is all demands, in and out of work ;-)

The lady that succumbs to his charm has a very hard time adjusting to all she loses in the process. I understand her misgivings and doubts, though this character also jumps from fire into the abyss when she resistis his savvy advice. The reader knows she's doing the wrong thing and it's irritating :-D There are some steamy scenes in between all the battles to save her lip-gloss beauty business. I suppose it gets frustrating how bossy he is or how she goes from resenting him to devouring him in a frenzy of desire. Though it also makes for the constant entertainment.

The characters go back and forth with wanton behaviour and a duel of wills, so they clash and finally burn each other. The plot takes them into a kind of conspiracy that almost ruins them, but the hero in a suit proves he's more than a bunch of commands. It's messy and twisted and entertaining till the end.

The plan is well designed and executed, that I liked a lot, but the romance is more about passion than emotions.

I enjoyed the story of Rex the billionaire and Cherry the entrepreneur.
It started a little slow, but once it got going I was hooked. Rex is a super hot billionaire investing in Cherry's up and coming lip gloss company. When their obvious attraction to each other causes them to mix business with pleasure it complicates things. They have great chemistry and it makes for a good story.
Where it looses me a little is at time Rex is too bossy in unnecessary situations, and Cherry sometime seems more like a teenager when it comes to decision making skills and reacting to different situations. Those are both a little off putting, but after one of those instances you jump right back into something interesting that keeps you turning the pages.

Overall it was a good quick read. :)
I'm glad Sloan Storm is back and publishing more stories.

Super story...who doesn’t like a sexy, successful billionaire?!?! Rex is just that, he is arrogant, successful, rich and always gets what he want. Cherry, is young and it’s trying to get her lipgloss company of the ground. She’s naive both in business and in life. Rex steps in to help her business and turns her life upside down. I enjoy the power struggle between them and their dialogue. This book is a great read with good characters, storyline and very sexy scenes.

Rex March is a billionaire and the CEO of March Enterprises. Reading this book kind of reminded me of the tv show, The Profit with Marcus Lemonis. This book has the same feel, but with romance involved.

Cherisse “Cherry” Clements owns Cherry’s Berries, an all natural lip gloss company. Rex comes by the manufacturing facility and makes her an offer of financial help and to expand her small business.

I enjoyed reading this book, but some things were a little out there to believe. For starters, if her lawyer was any good at his job, he would have told Cherry everything she needed to have in order to cover all her bases to protect herself against any kind of lawsuit against the company. I mean isn’t that was insurance is for? And it was a little naïve of her not to know she needed to have Material Safety Data Sheets from her suppliers to know exactly what went in their products that she used for her gloss. And really, if it were my company and something was shipped from overseas from a place that was just hit by a typhoon, I would have someone who could verify it before using it in my product.

I liked Cherry, but I think she has multiple personalities. At first she comes across as a very smart strong woman, then she turns into a stubborn ninny when she doesn’t take Rex’s advise and then dumps him because of a disagreement on how things should be when Rex told her from the beginning he was in charge and had the final say. Also, the sex scenes were hot, but again, they didn’t match what images you have of them. Rex is always in charge and yet he lets her take control from him?

There is a happy ending and a lot of drama and angst to go with it.

Cherry runs a small business, Cherry's Berries, with her family, although she is clearly the one in charge. Business is booming but struggling to keep up. Enter Rex March, billionaire CEO of March Enterprises, feared, revered and loved by all, and in Cherry's case, her savior. Soon they come to an agreement. Rex is handsome, powerful and willing to help her. Cherry quickly develops a crush, one she would never dare act upon. Her business is everything to her. This is business and Rex never mixes business with pleasure. That's one rule he never breaks. But Cherry just might be the exception.
HOT🔥 HOT🔥 AND HOT🔥!
HARD DRIVING STORYLINE THAT FLOWS EFFORTLESSLY ! STRONG CHARACTERS TANGLED IN A MESSY, COMPLICATED SITUATION THAT BRINGS TOTAL SURRENDER, NOT JUST PHYSICAL BUT EMOTIONAL TOO ! AN AMAZING STORY FROM START TO FINISH ! ! !

Cherry started her dream job during college. It grew enough to add her family to the business. She landed a large store for distribution but was having trouble getting the main ingredient, her oil. She was all natural in her line and would not budge on the chemical makeup. Billionaire Rex stumbles upon his secretary and her gloss to later find out the source for his next business endeavour. Coming in at the right time, Rex offers his connections and partner. Cherry is so head strong she can not agree but in the end signs the bottom line. Their chemistry is strong but how Rex grew up, never did he believe in love. Spending the time with Cherry opened his eyes but when she voluntary aborted the deal, both were hurt. He never gave up on her and in the end when she was at risk of losing her business over a bad business deal, Rex came thru again even when she bailed. Hearts will be mended Cherry realizes Rex was trying to truly help her business. Along came the friendship as a plus.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review…3.5-4 star read

It took me a bit of time to really get into this as the story was a bit slow moving. I had a really hard time really feeling the connection between Rex and Cherry. Yes, they have great sex but the full out actual connection was a bit off for me. I could feel it from Cherry’s POV but not so much Rex’s. It was made to make you feel like he MUST have her no matter what – but I myself needed a bit more background from him and struggle other than stating his ONE RULE.

Once the story got into full swing I had a much easier time with it and really did not want to put it down. I needed to see where all this craziness was going to go. I was very pleased at the twist and turns that took place and was ultimately quite happy at the with the turn of events. All in all it was a enjoyable read.

After researching the company he realizes its heading for disaster. He decides Cherry's Berries will be his next business endeavour and shows up at the manufacturing plant unannounced. Rex makes Cherry an offer to help with one stipulation, he has total control over the company. Cherry reluctantly accepts the offer and soon realizes her company isn't the only thing Rex wants control of. The banter, chemistry, and suspense make this a quick enjoyable read.

*Spoilers*

I don’t even know where to start with this book. It was impossible to put down and I just loved every minute of it. The author sure knows how to grab readers attention and make sure they are kept on their toes after finishing chapters. Cherry’s business is all but almost bankrupt and Rex steps in to help her but investing in her company and being in control. One thing leads to another and they end up falling for each other but Cherry doesn’t want to tell him her feelings.
The books get even better and better so if your interested this book will not let you down.

A story of lies, deception, secrets, chemistry, passion and the best plot ever.
Lots of twists and turns you never see coming. Loved it

We have a bossy alpha hot billionaire. Rex who wants to invest in Cherry's lip gloss company who is failing. They are instantly attracted to each other but we all know that mixing business with pleasure is not encouraged, but their mutual attraction is still in the way..How will they handle it.. Sometimes a little slow but good enough..

I was so happy that Sloan Storm was writing again and had a new release with my favorite type of characters: handsome billionaire and the every day hard working woman that isn’t a “yes” person. Cherry has much to learn about running a business and needing an investor to survive. Rex is just the man to tell her how to be successful. Once I started, I couldn’t stop reading because the storyline has intense chemistry, deception, and humbleness which checks many boxes. Hope you enjoy this one as much as I did.

What happens when an arrogant and determined billionaire decides he wants the young and equally determined entrepreneur and her business?

Well what happens is we get a slow starting but very good story full of great dialogue, some misunderstandings, betrayal, add to that mixing business with pleasure which end in some hot sexy time. Enjoy!

I admit this wasnt a bad book. The beginning could use some more work cause it kind of drags and I had a hard time getting into the story. Rex was not a very detailed character some more on him would have been nice and Cherry seemed a little to confusing.

When two bosses get together and try to run a company, as you would expect things don’t go smoothly. I enjoyed Rex and Cherry as they tried to work together while still trying to be the boss. Their story told in dual POV, was filled with plenty of drama and steamy chemistry. I never predicted how it would end but thought it was very well done.

I received this book for Free to Give My True & Honest Review.

Welcome back Sloan Storm, what a fantastic first book of 2019.
What a spiky young entrepreneur that is, Cherry Clements, who's not long gotten a big order deal for her all natural lip gloss, then in comes multi billionaire Rex March who wants to go into business with her.
And it's from here that he seems to steam roll in & convinces her to join up with his company, but then things seems to steam roll in the opposite direction with a bit of a push by other women in Rex's lives.
Come & see how things work out, if they do for Cherry's lip line & what way IF any Rex has to do with the success/downfall for Cherry.

Loved this stand alone HEA...

The story started slow, chapter 1 to 10 was only based on Rex trying to take over Cherry's business and have full control of it, why did we need 10 chapters for that. I almost stopped reading until i started chapter 11, things got pretty intense and interesting between Cherry and Rex. Their chemistry was off the chain even while mixing business with pleasure, i liked the fact that Cherry had a backbone and was a go getter. Their love story was beautiful and also made me feel like it was ok to mix business with pleasure sometimes. I enjoyed their dialogues too.
