The Power Players #4

Powerful Love:

Rate this book
My best friend was just trying to protect his little sister and I respected that.
She was the love of my life but I had to let her go for her own good.
Everyone knows my family’s reputation.
I come from crime and people don’t let me forget it.
She saw the good in me when it wasn’t easy.
Even after all these years I would do anything for her.
Looking at her so broken and in need.
I can’t turn her away.
It doesn’t matter how dangerous it gets.
Her brother is gone but she can always count on me.
I let her go once and even if she is with him, her place is with me.
I wont stop until she is home where she belongs.

Powerful Love is a super steamy stand-alone second chance full-length novel with no cheating and HEA. Not appropriate for readers under 18.

Say What??!!

Talk about action....This book had tons of it. Even though this is the first book in this series that I've read, it was very interesting. The drama was believable and fast paced. Some typo's were present. I might read the other books in this series

I really liked this book. It had lots of action and adventure and sexy moments between Tony and Cara. I think the chemistry was pretty damn good between them and I liked all the interaction between Tony and his brothers. I liked it so much so that I continued to read into Power Players Book 5 because Tony's brother Val seems even more intriguing than Tony lol I actually started this series on Book 4 (this one) and it's my first book by this author and you don't need to start at the beginning, but I'll probably go back and read the previous three books in the series now. So clearly, I'm enjoying her work. Great writer and this is a decent series! I like the De Serra brothers!

Drama, suspense and romance, this book had it all.

This was a great read, the drama of a killer on the loose, the suspense of a kidnapping, the romance of young love reigniting with a passionate sensual love. This book had it all! I loved Tony's passion for Cara, He was her first and intends to be her last love. Cara had an honesty that was true, a love for her brother now gone and a wish for for his Killer to pay for what he had done. Fearful of a love that caused her so much pain in the past but a willingness to try again.
I received a free ARC copy of this book and have voluntarily read and honestly reviewed this book.

Oh My

This book four was so good that I had to stop a day and not read it cause I was close to the end and wanted to read more! These brothers are truly something else! This one had so much drama and twist and turns too. Had me on the edge of my seat at times and laughing a bit at others! I can't wait to see what happens with Val story next he's so talented with his tech stuff don't know how his brothers got along without him helping them out and finding out such important stuff for them and if course sooner or later he was gonna get caught! So looking forward to April release! Thanks so much for sharing .

Worth A Look(its good)

What do get when you mix a smart girl with and equally smart man who's also a little bad?You get a whole lot of chemistry and some really go scenes. The writer gives a story of lost love reuniting over the list of someone special and in the mix find a love that was always there just needed a little kick. The writer doesn't waste time with the back and forth but jumps right in and this makes for a good story. The two characters are likable and you can just see them in your mind d with all the fire and heat the writer puts out. This is good writing and a good way to spend time.

Sorry, but could not get over or forgive the premise of the main characters getting back together over her brother’s murder. It cheapens the characters characters for me from the very beginning. So it was just an ok read but could-have-gone-without story for me. But for readers who aren’t bothered by that the tension between the leads and all of their history carries the story forward fairly well so it might be the book for you.—also I loath first person narratives lol so that was also a hurdle for me; just want to be honest.

Anthony and Cara

I love this series, love the De Serra brothers! And I really enjoyed hearing about the others. So what happened to the family Sunday dinners at the uncle's house? (The dinners were in the first two books)
The only thing that keeps me from given it 5 stars is the epilogue. I want an conclusion to the couple, a further look into their life together, not a sneak pick into the next story.

Back To Love

Promises kept, starting over and finding your way back to love. This latest book of Tony and Cara's story keeps you on edge in enticing anticipation. A take charge hero, a spirited heroine, distinctive characters that are similar keeps you riveted to the storyline. This romance has you smiling, it also has you wanting to reach out and touch someone (not in a good way), but in the end Tony and Cara find their HEA.

Reunited Love ❤️

He was the only one she could turn to to find her brother’s murderer and the stalker who kept threatening her. District Attorney Antonio De Serra remembered his crush on Cara Younger the moment he set eyes on her…he’d never forgotten their love! Now his best friend, Jerome Younger, was dead and he had to find his murderer and find a way to convince Cara that he never stopped loving her!❤️🦋

I love Antonio and Cara in this story. Antonio and Cara share a past when they were young. Their chemistry is still undeniable after all these years. They are brought back together due to a tragedy with her brother. They have a deep connection between them and the story flowed smoothly. I loved the romance and suspense of the story and it held my attention from beginning to end.

Intense

I realized I read this out of order. If I read a series I like to start with first one. Now I will back track. Love that these two had a history that was thwir own. Sad about how they reconnected. The twist of who murdered her brother and his best friend is something that tied them together forever. Liked that the ending wasn't overly predictable.

Good read but needs editing

I enjoyed this book. It made me laugh, and I liked the storyline. However there were many grammatical errors that changed the meaning of some words and names. So good book; but, wish the author would have re-read or spell checked more. I enjoyed the character's personalities as well.

OMG!! Out of all of the De Serra Brothers, I think that Antonio is my favorite!! The way he speaks to Cara and pushes her past her limits and the no-nonsense behavior he oozes at his position at work makes him my favorite!! Believe me when I say that once you get to this chapter in the series you will certainly not be disappointed!!

I have decided not to finish this book. At the outset there were a number of editing issues. Based on my past reading experiences, the problem typically does not improve as the book progresses. Additionally, I really didn’t connect to either MC, even though it was early in the book. I simply want to move on to a book I think I’ll enjoy and one that is not rife with editing issues.

Mistakes Teach You Well

It is a shame that death brings back love. If they were strong enough in the beginning to hang to their relationship, so many things right have different. I loved this drama unfolded. It was hard not to continue reading it until the end. The entire series is excellent.

Antonio and Cara kept me glued to this intriguing story that is filled with drama and suspense. Cara is seeking justice for the murder of her brother and help to stop a stalker that is after her. Will Antonio be able to keep her safe from her stalker and get justice for the death of her brother? This story had me in Cara's corner cheering her on to get what she was after!

Good

Suspenseful. Hot sex scenes. No real character development. Not much fluff. Ok dialog. Tony was a billionaire D.A. she was a physical therapist. They had history. He broke things off because he brother, his best friend asked him to when they were teenagers. But they team up when her brother, Jerome, it's killed.

Love romantic thrillers!

Tony is a bad boy who definitely has it bad for his woman. Cara, a damsel, who even in distress is ready to fight her way out of it. Read it, you’ll love it!

Tony and Cara

The brothers all know how to bend the rules to get who and what they want. Tony was especially suave and knowing. First impressions of Cars were unfavorable but proved her self worth and know how.

Very Entertaining

A quick fun read for a relaxing and self pampering moment. I have only read this one book of the series, so I think that I might just have to go back and read the other books too.
