When I set down and decided to take the leap to make my life time dream come true and write a book I was terrified, but in a good way. Publishing a book is the most thrilling thing I have ever done. That's with having 14 grand-kids. LOL!

Wow what an action filled, hot romance from Nancy Chastain, loved it, loved the chemistry between the characters, loved the interesting and addictive story line this was a great read.

Will This Be a Life Sentence
This story shows love can conquer all. Great demonstration of how one event can change several lives in the blink of an eye. Then it comes back to show that love will endure throughout time.
David is in love with his best friends sister Macy, but he is refraining from acting on his emotions. The night of her 18th birthday changes all of their lives. Can they survive the terror that has haunted them for the last ten years? Together they are determined to change the course their live is going in. Will someone go as far as killing their own family members to get what they want?
This story is for those of you who want to read about a love that has been separated by an unfortunate event. Is that love strong enough to mend all that has gone wrong and help a family mend?
If I could change one thing about this book, I would say it needed to be a little longer and give closure to a few of the character’s that were mentioned.

This was a lot racier than the romance I usually read, with some really explicit scenes, but the emotional story that went along with the physical attraction was very compelling. David's protectiveness of his friend and his friend's sister, who he has loved for so long, is believable and heartbreaking, considering what they go through after David saves Macy from certain rape and perhaps worse. Once in awhile I find a story with a little more detail (ahem!) than I like to get into because it looks like the story beyond those details would be good, but then the steamy aspects become overwhelming - this did not happen here. Sure, David and Macy want each other in a very physical way, but their love is deep-seated and true. Their near-obsession with each other as well as the rough, darker aspects of the story reminded me of Jamie McGuire's Beautiful Disaster series, which I really like.

David spends 10 years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit to protect his best feiend and his family! The day he is released from prison he is met by Macy, his best friends younger sister and the girl he has secretly loved since childhood.
Macy has some bad news for David and despite having a plan for revenge against him, that stops when she sees the man he has become. She had always had feelings for David when she was younger and seeing him again brings them all back.
Loves path is never easy and as things start to come out about Macy’s brothers and the fact that she owes David’s brother, Jack, money, events and timings start to fall into place. The question is can David do what needs to be done to protect the girl he loves or is it too late for both of them?
David has to fight the fight of his life, but knowing what is at stake gives him more reason to win! the question is can he do it?
This is a great read, and I really enjoyed it,

I enjoyed this read. David is a good guy, protects those he loves. It ends up sending him to prison for 10 years. Macy blames David for the death of her brother and her current situation. She wants revenge. There are definitely a few places where the plot needed more development. Example: Where did David get the money he was spending after he was released from prison? The main characters proved they were strong even in the most difficult of situations.

David Martin is not a man with any regrets. Just like the man, this story tells it like it is so there’s no way you won’t understand what’s going on. Macy Anderson seems to have a warped sense of the truth.
What set this story in motion had to do with an MC. So fans of MC romance may just want to add this to their library. That also goes for those that like sports romance. But know this, their story is not all happy and it can be emotional. It’s a story that shows how much violence can affect our lives.
The author is very good at creating that feeling of waiting for the other shoe to drop. You get the feeling but if you don’t keep reading you’ll never know if it actually happens or not. For some people this story may even make them mad – not at the author but at the circumstances. Then our author gets creative by adding in a twist that left me glued to my seat until I finished the book – no matter how long it took.
It might have been the shoe drop that I’d been anticipating but I didn’t care if something happened around me. All I knew is that I wasn’t going to budge until I got through every last scene. I knew I was right because I would have missed my big surprise moment – you’ll know what I’m talking about once you get there. Hint: it’s when you read something that you didn’t see coming. David and Macy show that there can be second chances at love. They also left me wanting to check out the author’s Deadly Obsession series.

I have never read this author’s work before but I will definitely be checking them out. The story is fast-paced story that kept me captivated from the beginning. This is a book all about sacrifice, sacrifice for the one you love, sacrifice for a better life and sacrifice so you are safe. Macy’s family starts to implode the day David went to jail and she has held a grudge for 10 years. But her feelings for David overcomes all need for revenge and David helps her place the blame where it should’ve been all along. Macy and David are both enlightened to Jack’s devious plan for them. Will the love and the sacrifice hold Macy to David? Will love really conquer all?

I enjoyed the story in the book, MMA is a new subject for me. One thing that disappointed me was that there wasn't more MMA in the book. The fight was hardly mentioned at all. Apart from that I felt the characters were well written and very believable. I also enjoyed the twist.

This had me looking over my shoulder wondering what would happen next. Macy and David are a great that had to overcome a lot. The story has a lot going on the whole time.

Caged Rage was captivating from the beginning. David made he sacrifice to protect the girl he secretly loved. As Macy's family seemed to be falling apart she started to blame David.

This was a really good read. A hero who does what he thinks is right but it doesn't turn out the way it should have. Now he makes it right and gets the girl!!!

Caged Rage
Nancy Chastain has me hooked. She is new to me and had me staying up to finish this story. Macy is a strong lady who takes no $hit, not even from her leading man. This was a quick read and left me with a smile; but had me rooting for the good guys and trying to help the cops. The story seemed shortened and/or hurried in places; when Nancy has a few years of writing under her belt I’d love to see how she’d tweak this story. I recommend this book - come on I dare ya to give Nancy & Macy a shot.
