Pour Marie-Douce, l’apparition soudaine de Lucien est impossible. C’est un imposteur, un sosie! Il n’était pas censé revenir et en plus, il a beaucoup trop changé pour être celui qui lui a brisé le coeur avec une simple lettre. Mais elle doit se rendre à l’évidence : il est bien là et il l’invite à le suivre à l’autre bout du monde! Même si elle sait que son père n’acceptera jamais un tel projet, Marie-Douce tente le tout pour le tout! Lucien n’est cependant pas le seul garçon qui rend la vie difficile à la jeune danseuse : James et Maddox lui en font voir de toutes les couleurs, eux aussi! Le coeur à la dérive, Marie-Douce devra faire le point sur ses sentiments.

Du côté de Laura, ce n’est pas plus simple, surtout maintenant que Daniel St-Amour est de retour! Xavier et elle l’attendaient de pied ferme avec leur test d’ADN pour enfin connaître la vérité. Sont-ils, oui ou non, demi-frère et demi-soeur? La réponse à cette question est encore plus complexe que ce qu’ils auraient pu imaginer et bouleversera la vie de tout le clan!

summary:

- i genuinely almost shed some tears throughout this book
- why do they cry every two chapter tho im concerned
- so much happened in this books im very overwhelmed
- lucien coming back was not on my personal wish list
- him asking marie-douce to go to yemen for a whole month is crazy insane work
- them wanting to meet at the top of the eiffel tower in two years is corny and a desperate move bc they can’t accept that they need to move on
- I FEEL FOR MADDOX poor soul, his drawing for marie-douce was the sweetest, but the ultimatum he gave to marie-douce i’m not too sure about that…
- james was less of a a-hole, but still did questionable stuff
- only felt bad for him bc of his clearly bad relationship with his parents and he has a non curable tumor? yikes!
- glad that the samantha liking laura plot didn’t go too far
- thank god the rumor has been revealed to not be true
- kim and alexandrine TAKE THAT (hopefully laura never forgives her bc tf?!)
- but daniel being xavier’s father and laura not being his daughter? HUH?!
- nathalie has lots of explaining to do because she lowkey highkey spent the whole book shaking in her goddamn boots.
- so i guess christian, laura’s “father maybe” is dead? definitely need more info on that
