At 125 pages with lots of summaries, review questions, mnemonics of the techniques, and quick reference charts, this is an easy read for parents to understand how to better harness their kids' interests in a way that helps them build their own intrinsic motivation--rather than relying on ineffectual external rewards. Great summary of current research on motivation, resilience, reactions to pressure and competition, effect of personality, grit, growth mindset & fixed mindset from researchers such as Carol Dweck and Angela Duckworth.
