After failing to capture the attention of their bicurious costar singlehandedly, Kit and Devon team up to seduce Jonathan, who plays King Arthur in the new miniseries Camelot.
The chemistry between the three actors is off the charts, and it brings out the adventurous side in all of them. Things heat up in the bedroom as the trio explores the pleasures of dominance, submission, bondage, toys, and anything else they can find to get the most out of their secret time together.
But a gay ménage presents problems without easy solutions—especially as they work closely together on set. For their threesome to survive and evolve into a true committed relationship, they’ll all have to test their physical and emotional limits.
This volume includes newly edited and expanded versions of the novellas: Exploring Limits Stretching Limits Refining Limits

Growing up in Chicago, Nicki Bennett spent every Saturday at the central library, losing herself in the world of books. A voracious reader, she eventually found it difficult to find enough of the kind of stories she liked to read and decided to start writing them herself.
Three actors playing roles in a new miniseries filmed in Britain are at the center of this explosively sexy ménage that slowly evolves from a purely fun, physical relationship to one that involves deep emotions. “We could always share him….” is an intriguing starting point and, initially, more of a solution to the problem that both bisexual actor Devon and his younger, openly gay costar, Kit, are interested in their supposedly straight American colleague, Jonathan. “Sharing” him avoids any issues between them when working closely together on the set, but it soon leads to much more. It’s a complicated relationship, especially once some trust is developed and the three men open up to each other about their deeper needs, their pasts, and what they want for their future.
This is the first book that I’ve read by these authors, and it probably won’t be the last. I liked the blurb for the book and was excited to start reading it. I like ménage, BDSM, and contemporary books. The book is told in detail, and I liked how the sentences flowed. The characters were interesting and felt real and had real problems, like co-parenting, getting divorced, failed relationships, and abusive relationships.
I started reading and was immediately confused on whose point of view the book was being told in. That is until I realized that the story is told through the three main characters simultaneously and would change without any warning or indication. It took a little while to get used to. And I still tended to reread some of the paragraphs when I got confused on who was thinking what. I did like that I didn’t have to reread a scene from three different points of views. But this is the first book that I’ve read like this.
I also thought that the book could have been about fifty to a hundred pages shorter without losing any of the growth that the relationship went through. It just seemed to drag on.
The book is super heavy on sex scenes with a little bit of storyline in between, and while I do like my books on the heavy side of sex, I did start to get a little bit bored since all of the scenes are between the three guys. There are no sex scenes just between two of the characters, and so I had a hard time seeing the relationship grow. I had a hard time believing that they wouldn’t want to make individual connections with each other in addition to their relationship as a threesome. Maybe there will be more individual connections in the next book in the series.
I did like the twist that the authors put on the movie Camelot that the three actors are working on and how they bring more of a bisexual or gay attraction between Lancelot and King Arthur.
I did like how Jonathan, Devon, and Kit all come from different home situations. Like Devon is in the middle of a divorce from his wife and Jonathan is supposed to be straight and Kit is the youngster of the group but doesn’t lack for a whole lot of experience and loves to wear skin-tight clothing.
I did like that they are constantly testing their limits and that both Jonathan and Kit try to help Devon work through the issues and bad experiences that he had from a previous relationship in relation to his BDSM experience. So I did like how they communicated and tried to help each other with their issues and stuff.
I’m interested to see what happens when the movie wraps up and they are no longer working together, and so I will eagerly await the next book in the series. The book does have a happy for now ending. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

I have been gradually getting into m/m/m books and most of them work for me. This one didn't really work for me. I didn't feel a connection to Jonathan, Devon or Kit. Even with the story being told from all three points of view I still didn't connect with any of them. This book was heavy on the sex, which normally I am all over, but I found myself getting bored. I am not sure if it was because I wasn't connected to any of the characters, because there wasn't really much of a plot or because some of the sexual scenes were just a tad embellished. I am sure others will love this book and this series. I think I might have enjoyed this one more if it was shorter, which I never say but I think that might have worked better for this book.
Nicki Bennett and Ariel Tachna's Exploring Limits is a great menage with some BDSM and a whole lot of hot scenes.
I would classify this as mostly erotic book, as there are more sex scenes than not. But, the overall storyline is interesting and very compelling. Three actors who are working on a set together. Yum!
When Devon and Kit team up to get Jonathon to join them for a night, they have no idea what they are starting. Ends up Jonathon, who's never been with a guy before, really enjoys being with his co-stars. The story develops nicely, but with long sex scenes in between.
The sex scenes are steamy, but they also add greatly to the developing relationship between the men. The title is perfect, as the men are constantly exploring what they like, don't like, and how far they can take things sexually. They are into some light BDSM and each man has to figure out both their own limits, as well as understanding the other men's limits.
It ends with a HFN situation, but with more to follow. I look forward to reading what happens next. Each man is at an interesting time in their lives, such a divorcing, and wanting to introduce his lovers to his child. As actors, they have to sneak around, or decide when to come out as a trio to their castmates.
Exploring Limits is definitely worth a read if you enjoy menages that develop around the sex.
