Another Javin Pierce exciting thrilling adventure, from China to Mongolia, Russia, Italy and France, a roller coaster ride. There are plenty of twists and turns along the way and the book grabs you from the first page. It’s written to draw a reader in and bind them to the story, living it and feeling it until the very end. A fast paced, easy to read thriller, keeping you at the edge on the lookout for sharp turns. Very entertaining!

Fun, well researched and filled with twists. The story was complex but woven slowly in layers. I expected more action from this book, but reading it taught me some stuff.

After going rogue, Javin and Claudia have been reinstated in the CIS. Immediate they are a mission working with the Chinese to track down a traitor. They soon realize this is so much more than that. This whirl wind international adventure has Javin close to death several times through this story. With old flames, new flames and bullets zipping all around Javin barely survives. As always there is an exceptional cast of characters, so much action you’ll be worn out and an awesome story line so intriguing you won’t be able to put this book down.

A fast, furious and slick spy thriller.
Another great spy yarn with Jarvin Pierce and his operations team, Jarvin being a spy or corrector who works for Michael Bateaux Jarvin’s boss who is the Director of Intelligence for the Europe Division CIS headquarters Ottawa Canada
It all starts in the outskirts of Beijing in China when a hacker called Han narrowly escapes capture by the Chinese police, but falls into the hands of Jarvin who persuades him to cooperate rather than go to prison. Thrown into the plot is a hard drive needing deciphering, Intel on Iran’s ambitions for a nuclear weapon’s decisions on who can be trusted and who can’t. Jarvin and Claudia who is Jarvin’s partner then travel from Monaco, back to Beijing to Mongolia - Moscow Russia then Nice and Paris with all the time bullets flying.
As well as plenty of bullets flying, there are all the car chases, twists and turns nonstop action; Jarvin in a pickle with an old flame and Russian lover Mila and then his lover called Liberty both wanting his affection and decision on who Jarvin’s loyalty and future lies with? All this adding to what is a great spy story not to be missed.
If you have read other Jarvin Pierce spy thrillers this will be definitely one not to miss and if this is the first time you’re in for a spy thriller right up there with the best!

This book starts out near Beijing, China, where Han, an internationally known hacker is escaping police who are attempting to enter his apartment. When he reaches his hideout, he finds Javin Pierce awaiting his arrival.
Pierce wants Han to work with him, his partner, Claudia, both Canadian intelligence agents, and Zhang, a member of Chinese Intelligence, to find out who killed Zhang’s brother. It doesn’t help that there was already bad blood between Han and Zhang.
As the investigation unfolds, the three agents find enough information to disrupt the upper echelon of the Chinese government and could impact China’s relations with the rest of the world.
Ethan Jones always provides excellent stories to his readers with Javin and Claudia. Come on aboard to follow them to the exciting and unexpected results of the investigation into the mysterious death of Zhang’s brother and its possible effect on the Chinese government. And find out why Javin and Claudia are working with MSS, the Chinese Intelligence Agency.

If anybody has been following from previous books Javin seems to have gone rogue, but not to worry if not read any previous as each book can be read as a standalone, and in this novel Javin & Claudia are working with the Chinese Intel Agency and are trying to weed out a traitor which just happens to be a hacker, but no one trust each other, and tensions can get high, and it seems that they are just babysitting. The Chinese are a very careful nation and don't even trust their own. While babysitting these hackers Javin hears from 2 of his counterparts i.e. ex Mossad and 1 Russiam. Javin has at one time had an intimate relationship with the Russian and helped to disgrace the Mossad agent and she has put a hit out on Javin and has asked him to try and get her job back and in turn, she will take the hit off. Things do seem to go from worse to dire and Javin actually ends up in Mongolia. Great read plenty of action and already looking forward to the next one. Will Javin stay on this path to destruction or stay clean.

Interception is the fifth book in the Javin Pierce Spy Thriller and another excellent read by Author Ethan Jones and exceeds my expectations.
Mr Jones has an uncanny ability to surprise you at every turn taking you with Javin Pierce from China to Mongolia, France and Monaco with constant action, suspenseful and surprising twists at every turn with the objective of completing his mission along with not trusting anyone after finding out he has a target on his back. The narrative makes you feel like your in the middle of the action and see what Javin and his team are seeing and experiencing. Interception is part of a series but is not necessary to read the previous books in order to enjoy Interception. I highly recommend Ethan Jones books and consider this book a must read

HOT DOG Rogue Agent Javin Pierce is reinstated to the CIS, and he and his dynamic partner go-a-hunting and gathering, and Ethan Jones has DONE IT AGAIN and delivered yet another great book!! To say the writing in this book is skillful is a gross understatement...it is way beyond that at the hands of accomplished Author Ethan Jones. Makes for a thrill a minute and flows like milk and honey from the Holy Land. Well, all except for the roller coaster thrill ride when Javin and Claudia do their “thing”, and do it so well as they always do. Very smooth reading and a page turner. This series is a must read even though books can be stand alone read. Everything any reader ever wanted is in this book to make it a wonderful read. Plot, well developed characters, great writing, and more. I loved this book! I highly recommend Interception. So glad I did not miss this one! ENJOY!!

I finished this book on March 8th and I enjoyed it very much.
The story line started out with Javin trying to catch Han to obtain information. The story continues with Javin dealing with two issues that he needs to resolve in order to accomplish his mission.
It is interesting to see Javin attempting to gather information so that the task that he is working on with Claudia goes off without any other issues. With help from his Russian and with the assistance of his team, he is able to accomplish his mission in Monaco and also solve the problem that he has with an Israeli associate.
The ending is done quite well and I highly recommend this book.

No-one is safe and even if he can solve this case, he is still in danger. It seems the women in his life either love him or want to kill him. Or maybe both.

I‘ve read several of Ethan Jones’ Justin Hall novels and thoroughly enjoyed them. When he offered a free review copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, I jumped at the opportunity. The book is well-written, with a fast-developing plot that pulls the reader in and makes you feel part of the action. Javin and his partner Claudia can’t trust their team members as they work through twists and turns that make you wonder whether anyone will come out alive. I found it hard to stop reading, even for meals and sleep. I highly recommend this book and will certainly read more books in this series.

What can I say about Ethan Jones latest Javin Pierce book except it is awesome. This is the latest book in the series and it is electrifying. The action starts at page one and continues to the last page. Javin and Claudia, his partner, are at their best in this book. If you love spy thriller mysteries you need to try Ethan’s books. They are among the best I have ever read and each book gets better and better. I have read everyone of Ethan’s books and have not found one I didn’t like yet. Give Ethan’s books a try. I think you will really like them.

The action gets started right away. There are twists and turns that you don’t expect. You are always trying to figure out who is actually on Javin’s side and who is only pretending to be. And who is shooting at him now?! He is having a hard time sorting out which attacks on him or his team are due to their current case and which are personal. He also needs to decide between two women and one is running out of patience! The ending came as quite a surprise. Looks like the next book will be explosive! Great series.

The well defined characters of Javin, Claudia and others make for yet another exciting episode in the Javin Pierce series. As usual, the book is fast paced and the plot takes many twists and turns, while creating much high anxiety. If the story line wasn't enough, Inception is further enhanced by Javin's many personal female intrigues. Another great read from Ethan Jones. I received an Advanced Readers Copy of Interception and am voluntarily leaving this review..

This is a cracker of a story I was worried about Javin, you will have to read the book if you want to know why. These agents go from one mega scrape to the next I am continually holding my breath wondering how they are going to escape the situations they get into. I have to hope Ethan will keep them safe so there will always be another wonderful exciting story to read in the not to distant future.

Interception is the fifth book in the Javin Pierce series. While you could read this as a standalone, I recommend that you read all of the books in order as the storyline continues throughout the books. This book does end in a soft cliffhanger for the next book in the series. There is violence. I really enjoy these Javin Pierce novels. The storyline is non-stop action and takes you all over the world. And there a plenty of twists and turns in the story.

An easy read, but one jam packed with action, intrigue, excitement, and even a car chase or two.
Once I picked this book up (OK, to be fair, I read it on my iPad) I had difficulty setting it aside. The most recent reason for lack of sleep!
I love the Canadian connection (being Canadian myself) and the adventures in places I've never been and likely won't see.
Not my first read of this author, and most certainly will not be the last !!!!

Javin Pierce is always in the cross hairs in Interception, whether it is the from bad guys or the women in his life. Lots of action and great character development. It is a real page turner. I'm relatively new Ethan Jones' work but I am loving this series. I can't wait to check out some of his other series as well.

Javin and Claudia are working with the Chinese agency to find a traitor. A price on Javin's head, agents they cannot trust, and many shootouts in this mission. This has the usual twists and turns to keep you interested. Javin also has a new love interest that keeps him away from his Russian love. A novel you will not want to put down.

This is another great book about Javin Pierce. I enjoyed it very much. I liked that Javin is written as a multi faceted character. He is rough and tough but there is a sensitive side to him as well. I am looking forward to the next book.

Javin and his partner are on another action-packed mission. Trying to capture the Chinese millionaire is a lot harder when Javin is also trying to find out who ordered a hit on him, and avoid getting assassinated by multiple hitmen.

Ethan does it again
This is a stunning book, back door deals and support from enemies, using the old adage, an enemy of mine and yours makes us friends.
I enjoy the characters and the descriptions of areas and regions where things happen in the storyline.
