She Got Love for a Miami Boss
Winter Rivera.
Winter had it hard growing up. Hell, she still has it hard. She went from hell on Earth for the majority of her childhood and even some of her adulthood while living under her mother’s roof. Her mother, Sandra, was not only physically abusive, but she was mentally abusive, verbally, and psychologically as well. Not many people expressed their love to Winter, so when the first guy said those three words that many people yearn to year (I love you), Winter instantly fell head over heels for him. Her relationship turned out to be a big facade. In fact, it only existed to Winter because he’d already had someone to love. With love lost and now two kids to raise on her own, Winter has hit rock bottom. They say that when you hit rock bottom, you don’t always stay there for long.
Cortez is his name, but everyone knows him as Boss because that’s exactly who he is and what he exemplifies. Boss is in a position where he can upgrade Winter’s life and remove her from her temporary struggle, and he doesn’t want anything in return. With all the kind gestures that Boss is doing for Winter, it sure as hell isn’t hard for her to have love for a boss!

Babyyyyyyyyyy I just knew that Julius was up to something now look him and Dewayne were both in on it, and even the way he talked to Winter when he was moving things out the house I knew something was up. It sucked that Winter even had to go through what she went through because Dewayne couldn't be real with himself and family. I am glad she met Cortez though but Kiondra gone be a problem. I feel bad for both Ocean and Neo, he should have just told her the truth. Hopefully they could work something out. I surely can't wait for part 2 because I know that it is MORE drama ahead. Great read Diamond

OHHH OHHH OHHHH I dont know where to being... THIS IS GREAT. I cannot fault Winter for being Naive due to her lack if men training. Dewayne, ole dirty, filthy confused sexual deviant, I cannot wait for your DEMISE. Why is no one asking any questions or than Camila.. Julius is a Dirty STUPID Lawyer, all in the name of Love. Hopefully the ladies get tested. Juliana (JUJU), deserved that beating, Winter put on her. Glad that Winter, had to hit rock bottom, but she is handlng it well, with the twins. Winters mom is the epitome of pure evil. Loving Boss, as he has made himself a better Man, and not just wanting to keep being a scammer, he cared enough about himself to better himself, and HELP others.. Ocean & Neo WOW, but its not his fault But he is wrong for not telling her. Cannot Wait for Part 2 cuz some heads need to roll...

So far so good!!! That Dewayne man, wow...
So this series is so far good on all level. I mean, winter need to just grow up and move on. Yes you always need closure but some closure aren't worth the headache. Then she makes the first mistake which was to go ahead and get with Boss after he said no. In any cas, Boss on the other hand is truly a boss in all of the sense of the word. Alpha, loyal, independent and focus is all to make him bae.
Ocean, man grow up already, and do not make this man choose because you will completely loose him. Neo, well don't know what to say but simply good luck.
Camilla, Dewayne, Julius, Julia, and Kiondra, you guys need to refresh or move on up so karma never disappoint when she visits...

OMG!!!
I just knew Dewayne was going to be shady. The extreme measures that he is going thru is super crazy. Don't know if I like Juju or Camilla but I do know that I feel sorry for Camilla cause she just as much as a victim as Winter. She ain't know that shadyness going on around her. Now I love Boss cause he a boss but Winter is definitely is definitely my nigga. I need Boss to let her boss up her own life. The job is just the thing she needs to get her right together. I just don't want nobody to walk all over her or take advantage of her anymore. I can't wait until she slap Sandra and Kiondra. Part 2 will be crazy!!!

Great Read
Held my attention from beginning to end and what a ending. I knew something was going on with that lawyer and Dewayne. I figured he wasn't dead, but afraid to live his truth. Well written and moved at a steady pace. It's full of so many lies, secrets and betrayal that I couldn't put it down. I can't stand Dewayne and JuJu , I know karma coming for both of them.....as is Camilla. Loving Cortez for Winter, he's exactly what she needs. Kindest, is definitely going to be a problem. Hopefully, Ocean and Neo will work everything out. After that ending, I can't wait to see what happens next. Good job Diamond Johnson.

Yes diamond do your sh** sis! This book was most def a dope read. I swear this book had me so emotional. I cant believe how dewayne did winter. Juju aint worth a quarter either for her part she played in it. I cant wait until the truth about everything come out. Boss is exactly what his name say a boss. I cant wait for him to show winter what real love is. Im most def here for winter glow up because i know its coming. Poor ocean. This is some crazy ish
Idk how tf Winter didnt see that something wasnt right about Dwayne. I give it to him. He hid it very well and then to have a wife and 4 kids on the side was way more than having a double life. I really like Boss but he is definitely self medicating and he's going to break eventually. I felt so bad for Neo and Ocean. I like them as a couple even though they are different from the norm. I believe that Camila is a part if the Cartel and has hidden it very well. She doesn't come off as complete clean in all of this. I can't wait for part 2

I love Diamond Johnson she will take you through every emotion before she give you a great ending. This book was good. What length will you go to keep a secret to live your life they way you want. I love winter she been through so much and she about to get a break in meeting Boss. I was sad for Ocean because her husband love her a mistake he made a long time ago might end his marriage. Camila is on the case to find out what going on with her husband. I hope part doesn't take long I need answers even though I kind of saw that ending.

Good Stuff!
This was some heavy stuff to take in but the writer gives us such a wonderful story and creates a realistic world.The main character Winter is an alpha female who hasn't shaken her cocoon yet.The story gives us some very complex relationships with a very good mystery thrown in to boot.The flow of the story moves effortlessly and you realize that you are vested in these characters.Just a really good read with all the elements working .This is,also a story that deals with some heavy subjects and you are going to appreciate the way they are being handled.

Very, Very Interesting!
I'm very happy that Winter is getting a chance to better herself and her kids lives. Even if a Miami Boss comes with it, so be it. I hope he doesn't forget that kiss though. Now here come the mini storms our way that will cause major damage. I just hope the calm will come quick and fast to settle the rage. This is a great story so far from beginning to end but now things have to be settled. Hopefully there will be light at the end of this tunnel. Can't Wait! Great Read! ReneeG 👍

Diamond you are so talented
Winter just couldn't seem to catch a break. Her mom was evil and then searching for love in the wrong places landed her back in hell with two children to depend on her. Dewayne has got to pay for his deceiving conniving selfish ways. Cortez I like him Winter deserves true happiness hopefully Cortez can give her that and she can get her tubes reversed and make Cortez a father. Hurry up part 2 please let Teagan and her daughter make it.

Ok read
This book started off okay. There was way too much history given for each chapter. Winter talked about her history for way too long, as did Boss and Juju with their history. I understand the point of it, but it took away from the present story time. To the point that the big reveal in the end wasn’t even a surprise. I probably would’ve been more surprised if it didn’t end the way it did.

Wow Winter couldn’t catch a break! My heart broke for her with the abuse from her mom. Finding out that Dewayne had a secret family and was left nothing in his wife with a secret family. She had strength and was determined to make it. I love how Boss gave her an opportunity with a new job and how her life will change around. Neil and Ocean have more than enough drama as well. I can’t wait until Everyone’s karma catches up with them.

I have read the majority of Diamond’s books. I believe her writing has digressed greatly from when she began. Every lead character is abused/ abandoned by her mother and ends up being saved by some dude. Maybe she’s a bit burned out by churning out so many books, but I used to look forward to her books. This latest book does not leave me anticipating the next installment.
