Dr. Michael: I am the prime suspect for the recent disappearance of an Omega, a patient of mine last seen leaving my private practice. No one knows where he is and I am looking more and more guilty as the days pass. As an Alpha and a billionaire doctor, my reputation is on the line and the accusation could ruin everything.
I can't figure this out alone, so I go to a reputable lawyer for help. When the lawyer turns me away, his son, Tai, reaches out to me. I am skeptical of the young and beautiful Omega at first. But there's something about Tai that makes me think he's the only one who can help me. As we spend time together and try to solve this case, I realize my growing attraction to him.
But I can’t fall for Tai right now when I should be thinking about the case instead.
Tai: When an Alpha doctor burst into my dad’s law firm pleading for help, I knew I had to step up to the plate. It was my chance to prove myself to my father, who never cared to give me much love or attention.
As I am nearing my first heat, I feel a lack of control around the strong and rugged Dr. Michael. But with the case looming over us, now’s definitely not the time to be falling for the doctor.
If anyone finds out, it could spell disaster.
Warning: The Omega’s Doctor contains explicit sexual content not suitable for anyone under the age of 18.
This book can be read as a standalone or as part of the Billionaires of Forest Hill series.
This is a cute and fast mpreg read. It is part of a series, but it can be read as a standalone with no problem.
Michael is a doctor who has been accused of kidnapping and raping a young omega. His friend recommends a lawyer who is so good, he has gotten the guilty to go free. Michael is desperate, so he barges in to the law office demanding to see the lawyer, but the man refused to represent him.
However, the omega who runs the reception desk is said lawyer's son, and is also in his first year of law school. He sees something in the desperate Alpha, and offers his help. Michael is desperate enough to accept, and the two begin working together that day.
Tai, the omega, has been doing his research, and believes he has a good theory that deserves digging into. After talking to his friend who lives in the city limits, Michael asks Tai to meet him at his house late the next evening. When the heat kicks things into hyperspeed, the attraction between the two MCs becomes very evident.
After things cool down, the two come up with a plan to try to prove Michael's innocence and get the real bad guy if they can. What they find is more than they had expected, and a bad situation turns dangerous.
In the end, we get our HEA. I enjoyed the story, but I don't necessarily enjoy the writing style. However, it was a fun way to spend a couple of hours, and the characters are sweet.
Yet another great read in the billionaires of Forest Hill series. It's lovely to see Michael get his love when he has helped his friends in the past. It was lovely to catch up with the characters from previous books and find out how they are doing like Kaine and Cyril. Michael developed the morning after pill for omega use and became a billionaire. He could retire you he wanted to but he doesn't want to. He keeps a few on his list and when he's the last one to see a young omega alive his troubles starts. Michael has the support of his friends but he needs a lawyer when he becomes the prime suspect. The lawyer he goes to see can't help but Tai quickly offers to help him. Tai just wants his father to be proud of him he's working at being a lawyer so when this beautiful Alpha is turned away by his father he offers to help. Tai has helped his father in the past and feels they can solve the case together. Tai knows he's taking a risk but he wants to do this. So the Alpha doctor who's prime suspect in the disappearance of a young omega, has a young omega about to have his first heat solve the case. They can help each other along the way. The characters are engaging which adds to an interesting read. This book is a great read as is the rest of the series.

3- 3.5 stars
This is the fourth book in the Billionaire of Forest Hill series and can be read as a standalone. I would recommend reading them in order, as characters from previous books do make an appearance and it makes things easier to follow.
I’ve been looking forward to reading Dr Michael’s story primarily because I wanted to know what sort of omega he would be drawn too. The wait was definitely worth it because his omega was totally different in every way.
Tai wasn’t a typical omega especially, in light of the legal path he intended to follow. Tai surprised me when he told his dad the truth - he didn’t run from the issue, he faced everything head on.
The ending was sweet and I liked how his dad became apart of his family.
The reason why I gave this book a lower rating is because I felt that there were aspects which were rinsed and repeated throughout the entire series. I wanted something different and Tai being different from the other omegas was a good start but I just needed that little bit more.
Overall, I enjoyed the story and look forward to reading more of this author’s work.
An awesome shifter short story with a HEA for all!!!
I loved this story and while I’m new to Mpreg, this was so hot!!! I liked that it was so easy to read and the story just flowed. It is thrilling and steamy and as this was the first I’ve read of Candice Blake’s I look forward to reading many more. This is about falling in love rather than fated-mates but it all worked so well and I liked that these characters were given time to fall in love and explore their attraction and lust rather than an insta-love connection. This story had a little mystery and intrigue and can defiantly be read as a standalone but there are other characters that obviously have their own stories/books and this story has made me what to read them too. There also seemed to be an overarching bad guy who’s appeared in previous books but Candice does so well in acknowledging this that I didn’t feel I was missing anything. I loved Michael and Tai together and really enjoyed their story and happily ever after!!
It's confirmed. This author is not for me. The writing is overly simplistic, child-like, cliched and overly explanatory. From chapter to chapter, the characters names change. Was the accused murderer in Tai's dad's case TJ Thompson or TJ Seltzer? Tai's assessment of Michael's case was ridiculously simple with Michael acting like he was Johnny Cochrane. We are told things that we literally just read. "I wasn't hungry since I'd just had dinner with Michael at blah blah." Yes, we know! We were there! "I delivered so and so's first baby." Yes, you literally told us that last chapter! I've already pointed out the huge editing mistake in my update where Michael claimed he didn't know Tai hadn't told his father he was at his house, when we know he did because we read it..in detail. Just poor. Once that happened, the already ridiculous story just got even more groan worthy. I literally skimmed my way through the over the top villain and rescue. I just can't. Like I said in my review of Book 3, here is literally zero tension in this author's storytelling. No more of this author for me, sorry.
The Omega’s Doctor is the fourth book in the Billionaires of Forest Hill series by author Candice Blake. This is part of a series. We do meet people we know from previous books, but you could read this as a standalone and be fine. I personally loved this book. Action, adventure, and mystery. Throw in love and heat well you have a book I won’t soon forget. Doctor Michael poor guy is a suspect in a murder of a missing golden omega. He is frazzled and at his wits end. So, when he gets a name of a lawyer to check out he gets his butt over there pronto. Tai is the son of the lawyer Michael is recommended too. He wants to prove himself. He is a first-year law student, but he knows he can help. He has drive and guts. He is an omega, but he knows he can help his alpha if he just lets him. I loved these two. They have a special connection that is really felt as I read this book. I really enjoy the emotional connection Ms. Blake brings to the stories she is telling. Makes me want more and more. I cannot wait for more from this series. I wanna meet more Alphas and the Omegas they love.
Michael is a alpha billionaire doctor who is being blamed for a kidnapping an omega. He's is not guilty and Tai is an omega who is determined to prove it. Being smarter than the average wolf as he is part coyote. They team up to capture the one who is framing Michael. Besides the typical alpha and omega love story, we have a really good crime story going on with kidnapped omegas, framing an innocent man Mpreg with delivery, a darn good fight, arson, and rape and a criminal getting what he deserves. There are some triggers in this story so the reader needs to be aware. An excellent that I really enjoyed reading. I voluntarily read and reviewed this arc book.
This is the story of a doctor being accused of a crime he didn't commit, a man that is determined to prove the doctor is innocent and a surpise heat that brings them together. I enjoyed the main characters Tai, an omega, and Doctor Michael, an alpha, and how they fall in love and protect each other from the dangers of digging into the truth of who the real culprit of the crime is. Some authors that write shapeshifting books don't use the animal form a lot, but this author likes to use the other shape to play a role and describes them very nicely especially with the different colors of each wolf. Candice Blake knows how to write a short and sweet story between alpha and omega men.
We finally get the Doc’s story and it was definitely worth the wait. For a short story it didn’t feel like everything was crammed in. There was a good flow to the story and it keeps you in suspense throughout.
It’s still a love story with some hot Alpha omega cation going on. I was so happy we got the doctors story but I’m sad now cos it feeling like the end of the series. If it is at least it finishes on a high.
An mpreg and fourth in the series each book has gotten more intense as more characters are introduced and they all interact although each book focus's on two or three characters. Well written with good guys who are strong and capable and bad guys who are diabolical. Of course each book ends with a new baby. Short, fun and fast paced. An ARC was provided in exchange for an honest review.
Just when you think you read the best one, bam she hits you with another great book. I've read them all so far. And they make me want more. Each one is different and can be read by themselves but who would want to.
this gets more interesting with each story.. different characters.. different plots.. more intrigue.. more curiousity happening.. it was a good story and i enjoyed it
How are these BILLIONAIRES so easily bullied and desposed of. The plot holes are just insane.. oh I forgot I had a lawsuit and now the worlds turned on me.
