There are a LOT of ins and outs of military marriage, life, and divorce. If you are a non-military person divorcing a military person DO NOT expect JAG to help and beware that not a lot of outside law firms and intimately versed in military law.
Much like there are small loopholes and things to know during your life as a military spouse about how to get housing and how to get what my aunt refers to as "free money." There are buried aspects even smaller about your divorce.
Having your own copy of this can even end up putting you in a position to help your lawyer.
Be prepared - this book is NOT cheap.
