More action and adventure in yer proper old America with Thad and Big Oak.

Great stuff. If you like historical/western/gunpowder novels why haven't you read this ? Is it :

a) The books were written in the nineties and don't appear in charity shops that often

or

b) This period of history is unknown to you.

I had to order this one from the USA, couldn't find it anywhere here in the UK, even expensive Waterstones.

A very interesting era of history is the 7 Years War, definitely worth a look. I Wiki'd it and wow what a war ! All over the world. As a student of military history I am going to dip into this a bit more.

Wonder what else the amazing Mike Roarke (gets muddled in Wiki with some baseball player) has written ? I'm off to find out.
