" This is the story of a young boy (Aaron Edwin). In the 1800s through his boyhood, he battles abuse from an alcoholic father (John Edwin) and the challenges of Asperger’s syndrome, a condition recognized as a demon affliction rather than a treatable syndrome. Without the ability to comprehend the difference between free man and slave, he becomes a respected and loved young man to the slaves on his father’s estate, and one girl in particular (Sarah) who becomes his passionate, though forbidden, love interest. When he reaches early manhood, Aaron finds himself betrayed and clueless to Sarah’s whereabouts. Aaron must justify the conflict of his torn family, against the moral social code of the time period. Aaron battles the demons of his affliction in the search of his life for the woman he loves. "
