An odd book which either doesn't really add anything new if you have some knowledge of Billy, and gives very little information if you don't. There's a brief outline of his life at the start then the rest of the book is reproductions of all the initial obituaries following his killing. Initially interesting, and I can see their value as historical sources, the problem is they quite literally all say the same thing, word for word so you're just re-reading the same thing continuously. There's no real analysis either, just a few odd comments about how his death was perceived at the time. I'm afraid I found it very dry.
