The book had elements that combined literary fiction with mystery thriller genre. Having read the book description, I knew that Olympia's friend has gone missing during her business trip in India. And the kicker is not only many tourists have gone missing in that place, but none of their family members reported them missing. That had me intrigued and kept me going to find out what really happened. It took awhile to get to the investigation aspect but when it got there, it became a real page turner. There are many twists in the book that kept me guessing - especially when the investigation in India kicks in. Overall, I liked the book and would recommend it.

It is good considering author's first. Upto first 40% of book it is setting of plot. Very detailed and a bit of drag. The investigation part is very good though with no element of surprise due to continuous wherry of heroine. Concluding part is filmy drama. Parhaps whole book is written with an eye on a future movie.
Yet enjoyed. Good wishes to author.

One of my friends recommended the book to me and I am glad she did it. The first half revolves around setting up the Olympia's character, friendship, and the mystery plot; the second half is a suspense thriller. Friendship is a predominant theme in this suspense mystery. Definitely would recommend this book to others.

Commendable

The story is well written. The protagonist's background and livelihood is portrayed well. The story gradually takes a peak to its immense core part. All the characters are fantastic and did justice to their part. Will definitely love to read other books from the author.
