Richard was born on a small island off the coast of Europe and went to live on a bigger island, and has spent time living on the island of Ireland. Weird and Exhilarating" is not the word for it!
Don't be scared off by the religious undertones. Most books about vanished civilizations and ancient relics can't help but be inclined that way because they dig up ancient peoples and the gods they worship.
This was a great book with a lot of action and whodunit. I've always been interested in fallen angels and Nephilim, and this is a different way to look at them.
Except for the pain, I would love to hear, "The Name of God," the way the Alex and Kate was able to hear it! As I was reading the description, I got tears in my eyes.
From what I can tell, this book has been out a while, so I truly hope the author has a second book written. I would love to share more adventures with Alex and Kate, maybe even find the Mistress... if she is still alive!
