The book itself is large and with a soft cover is not good for traveling. The book itself is good it explains things thoroughly if you need to know about the specific topics of the book, unfortunately for the class I am taking the book itself was not a paired well. This is no reflection on the authors.

This book and this class was a total waste of time and piece of crap. I am soooo glad it's over. There were so many typos in this book...like, for example saying that if someone's triglyceride level is over 2000 that you should refer the person to a dietician. Hello? Seriously? AAAHHHHH!!!!!

And, apparently, I have to use this book yet again for another course. I hate my life.

I don't know if I hated the book or hated the class that went with the book more. Either way, ick. Although, I did like the way that the chapters broke down development according to Gordon's functional health patterns. It made it logical as I read through.
