Wasn't horrible, but the author seemed really self absorbed and it was annoying to always be "in her head" so much

I started this book with the hope of learning more about the response team of airlines for plane crashes. Tammy L. Kling is so self-absorbed, I can't believe she was ever approved for a response team working with family members of the crash victims. This book is so me-me-me, I could barely finish it. More than once, I found myself stunned at how little empathy she displayed for the victims' families and how everything, even a tragedy by which she was not affected, was twisted to being about her. Ms. Kling should just write a book about herself and not pretend she has any interest in any other subject.

Tammy Kling worked as a member of American Airlines' Emergency Response Team when this crash occurred in Cali, Columbia. She gives us an insider's view of an airline's preparedness when disaster happens.

I will admit that I do like reading about disasters. Who survives. Who doesn't. An ok read.
