I look forward to reading more b Carolina Mac. This was a very good book kept my page turner finger busy. Old Jesse is just to dumb to stop, sounded like someone I know real well. Give it a chance it may not be for you but I enjoyed it.
An engaging storyline with lots of different types of action and a variety of characters that you just love to hate and some that are sweeties to fill in the gaps. I enjoyed the writing style and found it easy to read. Sure would not to trade places with these people who have 'everything'. Not my idea of a good life but maybe Ace's intentions were honorable in saving young men from violent lifestyles. Such hunky cowboys are a bonus. Not a clean read for those who prefer that. Thanks Carolina for a pleasurable few days reading.
I thought the books were very good My only problem was figuring out who the character was sometimes. Either there were books before that I didn't read or something.I didnt
have a clue about previous husbands or the beginning of Annie and Ray. Otherwise, I enjoyed them and they moved right along
