I am gonna read it again and again whenever I feel that I need to catch up with my feminine side…

s is the author’s first book, Really!!! I don’t believe this… For me, Natasha Badsha is actually “Badsha “ of her words. Every single story of this book is a masterpiece, whether it’s the story or the narration, she masters them both. She plays with emotions as swiftly as she plays with the characters of her story. Undoubtedly, this is one of the best short story collections by an Indian Author. I am really happy with the progress our authors are making.

Like our Bollywood movies, we have come a long way in terms of content created by our new generation authors. We are not restricted to IIM love stories anymore. Our next generation is going to read books which have easy language as compared to the western authors but the same or even better storyline.  “Tales of Her” is one of those books, which keeps my hope alive.

So basically, ‘Tales of Her’ is a collection of 10 storiesby the debuting author. Nine of them are short stories and the last one takes the latter half of the book. I won’t spoil the thrill that you are going to enjoy while you read each of them by telling you about the stories. It’s a small handy read, with easy language and intense emotions. As “Hers”, I am sure you will be able to relate to at least one of the stories.

From Jennifer’s struggle to accept the perfect soulmate over the mysteriously hidden corner of her heart to Lara’s fight with her past & present, every story takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions and practical struggles, that every woman goes through in her lifetime. I will definitely recommend this book to each one of you, despite your gender.

Giving this book 5/5 for its simplicity of words and complexities of emotions. And I am gonna read it again and again whenever I feel that I need to catch up with my feminine side… Happy reading fellas.

it's more of dystopia than utopia. I just couldn’t connect myself to the book. I usually read the book before sleeping and it made me feel so heavy. I didn’t find the elated feeling of women power and capacity. it was more of victims and their narration, about devastation and betrayal. Too heavy to read.

Tales of Her
By Natasha Badsha
Genre - Women's Fiction
Rating - 5 🌹

The book is divided into two parts
Part 1 consists of 9 short stories and Part 2 has a novella story

From the first story itself i found the writing style to be very artistic. The story felt very magical as it had all described in a very slow motion. Depicting the quiet life of a woman in a very dreamy yet simple language.

Second story is more magnificent. It left me spellbound. The way author has written such a emotion-evoking story is worth all praise. It has described all dilemma, complexes, healing and the purpose of characters.

Third one was so enticing till it turned dark and had a horror, author has written that effortlessly with the usage of strong yet soft words.

Other few stories had a gloom, deep dark depiction of all human desires, facade and questions, love, Longing and so much more...

All these stories were time pausing, written in a profound way and chosen from different strings of life. Few i didn't understood maybe because of the very deep dimensions they had, i would re-read those

Part 2 - Novella story has all of human emotions, complexes and a chase for utopia. It is set over a seaside.

Overall This Book Is A Must Read!
For all the fascinating and rare stories it holds.
