My 7 year old rates this 5 star.

There were many great facts about polar bears. Pictures were beautiful photographs of pilar bears and assisted with bringing the content of the book to life. My 7 year old (2nd grader) read majority of this book on his own in approximately 25 minutes. I feel it is on target for a Level 2 book, as it had only one or two challenging words for my 2nd grader.

This is a great book that introduces facts about polar bears to children. This introductory elicited the desire to conduct more research and learn even more. The fun facts about polar bears were cool to my 2nd grader!

I recommend this book!

I enjoyed that this book was told from the point of view of the polar bear momma.
I enjoyed some of the facts they shared {but also found the time lines and when they do and don't eat felt a bit mixed up}.
I'm glad they mentioned that polar bear's are losing their ice, but I feel like kids and adults need further clarity past 'if we don't find something else to do, we'll be endangered'.
