This is a great second book in this magical paranormal romance! Well written it is action packed, romantic and steamy and I loved following Celeste on her journey as she comes to terms it’s well everything! I adore Sinclair (although he is a little over protective sometimes) he is also a very sexy panther shifter and him and Celeste make a fab couple! Great storyline, great characters this is a series I would recommend!

I was excited to get this book, I mean shifters and magic? Two of my favorite subjects. I didn't read the first book, but had no trouble following the story. I was cautious when I first started reading. I was afraid Celeste was just running from everyone instead of trying to explain how they were making her feel impotent and helpless. I love how much Sinclair cares for her and actually understands how she feels when she finally explains. He might not like it, but he understands and will give her space while still keeping an eye on her. This story kept me on the edge of my seat and constantly worried about the outcome. This is a wonderful book even without the benefit of the first book. I will surely be looking for the next book coming. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.

A Sorcerer's Night by Marie-Claude Bourque 4 Stars ****

This was a surprisingly cool love story with a paranormal magical vibe.

There is witches, warlocks, panthers, a mage and a soul sucker and you know its gonna be exciting.

Celeste's is one determined yet scared sorcerer trying to escape her overprotective magical family. Even though I would of liked to know more about what happened to her before this book, her character was interesting.

Sinclair is most definitely one sexy panther shifter character that grabs your attention. He's very protective when it comes to Celeste, it's sweet and sexy. Sigh.

This is a good book but you do need to read book one in the series otherwise you will feel like you have dropped in mid scene. This is a good book, there is a lot of sex scenes and while that is not necessarily a bad thing in a longer book, in this one it uses a lot of space that could be used for more story. Celeste was taken by a crazed mage and in this book she is continuing to fight the dark forces.sinclar her boyfriend is uber protective as he lost his mother to murder, a murder that still haunts him and brings out the protective streak with Celeste, determined that she won’t be next. I do recommend this book but read warlocks kiss first and you will enjoy the book better.

Marie-Claude Bourque is a new author for me, and I never read A Warlock's Kiss, the first book in her The Order of the Black Oak - Warlocks series. Turns out that this is my loss as A Sorcerer's Night (The Order of the Black Oak - Warlocks Book 2) was really excellent shifter romance. Lucky for me it worked well as a standalone. Kerala and Deisel story is an exciting one and perfectly told. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. A Sorcerer&'s Night by Marie-Claude Bourque is Book 2 in The Order of the Black Oak - Warlocks. This is a series read and should be read in order. We catch up with Celeste and Sinclair in the continuing battle for Celeste's soul. While I enjoyed the read and there was action and spice (Mature Readers Only please), I was left wanting just a little more... A little more battle, a little more romance. A great quick read that will definitely prime you for the next fork in the storyline.

This world took me a while to get into (book 1 was alright but I found it harder to connect with the MCs) but this book was amazing!!! Celeste had so much darkness in her and her journey was very compelling. In the first book she is very much a side character; spoken of and referenced to but she didn't feel 'real';. It portrayed her as this weak girl that needed to be coddled and protected but 'A Sorcerer's Night'; did a 180 on her character. We see how she grows and comes of age while the story takes us one step deeper into Marie-Claude's world.

I loved this book. Celeste is just trying to get away from her overprotective parents and boyfriend who won't give her any space after her kidnapping to try to figure out what the visions are that she's having. Needless to say, she needs the help of others to figure out what is wrong and to fix her problems. I won't say much more but this is an amazing read. The characters are well fleshed out and the story grabbed me and wouldn't let go until it was finished. There is magic, shape shifting, evil, good and a mystery to be solved. I can't wait for more.

I really like this short story. It took me till the mention of her mother doing her thing to remember the characters. The romance angle was realistic - one wants to spread wings and attempt things on own but really in love with the other. The paranormal - magic stuff is interesting and why I wanted to read the book. I even research the goddess.

Quick easy read. Short story , can be read in one sitting. Can be read as standalone, but appears that each book follows the next one with the characters and story line. So reading them in order is not bad.

This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.

Fans of Harry Potter would totally love this book. A villain trying to take control of Celeste but she denies everything and tries to run off to give some space between her family and her so she can gain some experience in a firm that she as accepted a position in/ She wants to one day open up her own firm in her hometown of seaport . Soon did she realize that her boyfriend and her mother was right that she needs to go back to the family so they can help her out with this fight against this villain that has sold her soul to another villain. This book is an action packed book suspense turning at every page!!!!

This was a great paranormal romance - sexy alpha trying to wrap wounded but independent sorceress in bubble wrap. I'm sure you can guess how well that would work out. I enjoyed how the heroine "explained" to her beloved his need to let her be her and not his delicate baby doll, following by their partnering to deal with a deadly threat together... so thrilling, so romantic, so steamy. I am definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.

This is book 2 of The Order of the Black Oak - Warlocks and it’s a fantastic story, but you do need to read from book 1 first where Celeste is taken by a crazy rogue mage who practices dark sorcery and now Celeste is fighting for her soul from the Soul Harvester. Sinclair is a panther shifter and Celeste’s boyfriend but he gets too overbearing and protective of Celeste he’s determined to keep Celeste safe no matter the cost. This is a fantastic story I enjoyed it immensely and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Celeste has came trough very hard ordeal, she deal with its effects in her very own way, pushing everyone at the bay, not wanting to tear anyone behind her into hers danger. And danger never leaving her. Sinclair is strong, protective and so in love. He stayed by her side when she was unconscious (see “Warlock’s Kiss”) after being attacked, fought her own mind. She is running and he is not letting her fight alone. Pure show of love and trust. It’s a wonderful story.

A quick read that continues the story started in a Warlocks Kiss. In the last book Celeste thought she was free from Burton, but that is not the case, this book continues the fight against the dark side. Lots of interesting twists, but I thought the story needed more substance and maybe not padded with all the sex.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This story is a love story involving sorcerers. Sometimes love is all that is needed to get through the bad times. To know you are not alone. The story is fast paced and flows quickly, keeping the reader engaged in the story .The only part I didn't like was I wanted more background on the group of sorcerers and what their responsibilities are and how they function.

The second book in the series by Marie-Claude Bourque continues with the world of magic, shifters, witches and a soul sucking demon.
This paranormal love story is the continuation of the story of Celeste who is trying to make it on her own, and Sinclair, the panther shifter, who looks out for her.
An enjoyable book to read, showing that it does not make one weak to ask for help and that strength comes with working together.

A fast read with plenty of action and magic. I didn’t read the first book but was easily able to jump right into this one. It has tons of magic and a bad guy that just won’t stay down. Celeste is powerful and needs a chance to be herself away from everyone. But that may not be the best idea. Thankfully Sinclair will be there for her and loves her unconditionally. Now if they can just beat the darkness.

I enjoyed this well-written series and the great world it takes place in. The characters are strong and with some complicated issues they have to face and overcome. I love the overall plot and the shorter style book that I can read easily in a day. This Author is gifted with a strong voice and great style! A must read book and series

Celeste is awake and has to leave to come to become her own person. Sin only wants to protect her and doesn't see he can be stifling. Is their love enough to keep them together? This is a good series. Enjoying a lot.

This is the perfect book for when you don't have alot of time to sit and read. It was short but alot of action and steam was packed in. I felt there was a time where a bit more information would have been nice but it didn't take away from the story and I look forward to the next book in the series.

This is a very good, well-written and well-paced story that has good, evil, shifters and magic, mystery and steam. The main characters are defined, the H, overprotective, the h smothered. These two must each give a little, then work together before a HEA is found. I liked it.
