Daily Readings from Crushing: 90 Devotions to Reveal How God Turns Pressure into Power has been such an encouragement to me. This book helps the reader discover the question: Why do we suffer? Where is God in the pain? This book has been a huge encouragement to me during a difficult season where I have been asking God when will the pain end? This book is filled with great inspiration, devotionals and reflections to help you during difficult moments.
I love how small it is and how easy it is to read. I can take this devotional and throw it in my lunch bag at work to read for on the go inspiration and help me through a difficult season. I recommend this devotional and the book to go along with it. They both are amazing!

I Needed To Know

I am glad that I read Crushing. I needed to know & understand the what & why of what I am moving through. Bishop Jakes is an excellent teacher. He has a way of offering clarity in all that he writes.

I needed to know how to move on and through this current crushing situation and Bishop Jakes gave Me the clarity that I was seeking in order to do just that. The devotions in this book added a different kind energy to my daily reading. I am thankful for that.
