This book was okay, but the way it was written made it feel very repetitive. With the way the first book ended, I expected this to pick up right where the last book ended. Sadly, it did not. Instead it backtracks to the beginning of Ruby's funeral, this time through Austin's perspective.

Now I'm not saying seeing Austin's perspective was bad. It was interesting to get to know him more. What my issue with it was how much of the first two thirds of this book was repeat of the same scenes already seen in book one. The intereactions between Austin and Ashley could have been trimmed quite a bit as they have the same long conversations as in the first book. Perhaps if there was more of Austin's thoughts put in during these chunks of dialogue it would have worked better. As it is, it felt a bit repetitive in spots.

The parts where Austin is on his own is where the reader gets to know him more. He is develped well and is moved from just the knight in shinning armor character to a very complex and confused one. I came to like Austin more with this book.

The plot twists weren't all that surprising. I feel it could have been done better. As it reads, it was either in your face obvious or came from nowhere. It all depends on how much attention you are paying to certian scenes.

Overall, it was an enjoyable read and a good ending to the duology.

I was so thrilled with my Sisters Murderer the first time after such a great ending, I read it again just so that I could enjoy the full impact of the story uninterrupted in My Sisters Murderer 2. The second and final book is just as elegantly suspenseful with an even more pulse-quickening cocktail of badass and bitches, and more than a splash of erotic romance and despair. Austin shows a raw vulnerability as the story unfolds as he gets hypnotised and obsessed by Ashley. Liv Bennett’s writing is fast-paced and entertaining with very juicy scenes. Liv Bennet always weaves a fascinating and hot story and no two books are ever alike. I loved having two POVs With Ashley and Austin and a fulsome epilogue to end a great story. Of course no Liv Bennet book would be missing her trademark sexy scenes which are always dialed to raunchy and this is hot hot hot!!!

I struggled

The first book captivated my attention as I waited with highly anticipated excitement for the identity of the culprit or culprits. May contain spoilers. But book two barely delivered. I found myself turning pages with repetitive information that the reader experienced in book one through Ashley ' s point of view. I longed to hear Austin ' s POV The delivery could have been so much better. A good round of editting would have given the same details from the H perspective in a more concise manner thus eliminating the need for a second book. For these reasons I lowered my over all rating. What kept me reading the series? The plot and the characters. The uncertainty of the outcome for the h compelled me to keep turning the pages.

This follow up book, part 2 of a duet was awesome, It picks up from where book l ended and then it goes back in time with Austin's POV from when her sister Ruby died and onto his loss of his first girlfriend Natasha. Most of the book is written this way and even when we catch up to Ashley moving to the town where her sister allegedly committed suicide, it continues that way. This book was superbly written with twists and turns right up to the epilogue because you think it is one person who is the culprit at this point and then another twist and turn. Wow, never saw that coming. It was an OMG ending!!! I highly recommend this duet.

I liked reading this series. So much happened between the characters but at least the author doesn’t leave you hanging. A lot of what was said and done in the first second book was done in the first. So, I skipped over some of those conversations. The only difference is reading Austin’s emotions during the events. I look forward to reading more from this author.

~ 4,25 Suspenseful stars! ~

Well, I've been waiting for a long time to get my hands on the final part of the series especially, after the extremely mouth-dropping ending of the first book.

The time finally came and it didn't disappoint me at all besides all the twists, the biggest surprise for me it was that Austin was the one to guide us in this part and we get to see his thoughts and struggles. Talking about struggles... he is in deep suffering that's for sure.

The plot unfolds steadily and we get all the answers that they were floating around from the first installment. I thought that the mystery and suspense would come to an end but well I was wrong, the author kept the intensity 'till the very end.

Once more the steaminess was the cherry on the cake making the story even more enjoyable, I'm gonna leave this review spoil free but believe me the twists are mind-blowing.

Closing this review I have to say that I totally recommend it and I'm looking forward to reading the next story the author will create.
