De facto, quando Grisela, a ratinha protagonista desta história, não gosta da cor cinzenta da sua pele e decide pintar-se de várias cores, também não é nem de vermelho, verde ou amarelo, nem com riscas, pintas ou flores, que consegue sentir-se melhor.
E o que a magoa e entristece ainda mais são os comentários trocistas dos animais com quem se vai cruzando, à medida que vai mudando de cor de pele, até que um repentino contratempo a faz atirar-se à agua, sendo então que…

After she finished her schooling in Ede she traveled around the world. During these travels she met her French husband, Laurent Félix-Faure. He noticed she was good at writing and encouraged her to take a class in creative writing. This resulted in her first book in 1972.
Anke has been awarded The Silver Pen (Dutch National Book Award) and received mention on the List of Honor of the European Prize for Juvenile Literature. She is the mother of three children and lives part time in The Hague and part time in France.

A ratinha pinta-se de diferentes cores até encontrar o verdadeiro amigo- que gosta da sua verdadeira cor

No matter how hard our protagonist tries to change his mood by choosing other colors, he doesn't quite find the most suitable one. But something will happen that will make him change his mind. Nice illustrations!
Gure protagonistak beste kolore batzuk aukeratuz bere aldartea aldatzen saiatzen den arren, ez du ondo aurkitzen egokiena. Baina iritziz aldaraziko dion zerbait gertatuko da. Ilustrazio politak!
Por mucho que intenta nuestro protagonista cambiar de ánimo eligiendo otros colores, no acaba de dar con el más adecuado. Pero pasará algo que le hará cambiar de idea. Simpáticas ilustraciones!
Peu importe à quel point notre protagoniste essaie de changer son humeur en choisissant d'autres couleurs, il ne trouve pas tout à fait la plus appropriée. Mais il se passera quelque chose qui le fera changer d'avis. Jolies illustrations !
