Sweet sixteen was supposed to be the best year of her life. Instead, her life turned upside down. At seventeen, Reagan Harbin learned everything she knew to be the truth was a lie. If getting beat during interrogation wasn’t enough, she was kicked out of her home with little explanation. She was not quite ready to laugh with the creator, he obviously had more plans in store.
I did something I don't normally do and read a series out of order, starting with this book (number two). I enjoyed the writing style and how quickly I was drawn into the action, but I figured out fast that I would have a better grasp on events if I had read the books in order. The world building of these authors as a team was terrific and the variety of planes and scenes kept my reading journey exciting. There was so much emotion in this story as well that kept me on edge and wanting to read more and faster. Well done.
