Reasoning from Br. Nouman: “Even though I would love to engage, I simply don’t have time to look deeply into all the projects, their history & their contributions. I don’t feel comfortable endorsing anything without thoroughly knowing each and every aspect of it. Regardless, I appreciate all the different inspiring efforts taking place through out the world and pray for their success.”

প্রথমেই ব'লে রাখা ভালো এটা কোনো মাসঅালা-মাসাইলের বই নয়৷ এমনকি শুধু মুসলিমদের জন্যেও রচিত নয়। বইটি মুসলিম, হিন্দু, খৃষ্টান, বৌদ্ধ, জৈন, সংশয়বাদী, নাস্তিক সবাই পড়তে পারবেন। বইটি ইসলামের চিরাচরিত বিধিনিষেধ দিয়ে পরিপূর্ণ নয়। বরং সেগুলো বাস্তবতার ভিত্তিতে কেনো আমাদের জীবনে অবশ্য পালনীয়, এর সুক্ষ্ম এবং ক্ষুরধার ব্যাখ্যা লেখক দিয়েছেন। যার জ্ঞান একজন সচেতন পাঠক পড়ামাত্রই উদ্ধার করতে পারবেন।
বইটির নাম যেমন 'প্রশান্তির খোঁজে', পড়ার সময়েও একজন নিরপেক্ষ পাঠক এর থেকে প্রশান্তি কুড়িয়ে নিতে পারবেন। লেখার ভাষার সরলতা বইটিকে আরোও প্রাণবন্ত করেছে। যেহেতু এটি নোমান আলী খানের লেকচার সংকলন, তাই পড়ার সময় মনে হচ্ছিল তিনি যেনো আমার সাথে কথা বলছেন। একান্তই আমার সাথে।
বক্তব্যের স্পষ্টতা এবং সহজে বোঝানোর দক্ষতা আর পাঁচটি বই থেকে একে আলাদা করবে। লেখাতে কুরআনের প্রচুর আয়াতের উল্লেখ আছে এবং অসংখ্য উদাহরণ, যুক্তি এবং বাস্তবতার মিশেলে যা আরো স্পষ্ট হয়ে হয়েছে। ইসলাম যে শুধুই বাহ্যিক ইবাদাতের সমষ্টি নয়, এর যে ভিতরগত তাৎপর্য রয়েছে, রয়েছে সাহিত্যমান, লেখকের লেখনীতে খুবই সুন্দরভাবে এসব উঠে এসেছে। একজন মুসলিম তো অবশ্যই, অন্য ধর্মে বিশ্বাসী কেউ কিংবা ধর্ম নিয়ে আগ্রহী যেকেউ ইসলামের মূলনীতিগুলো সম্পর্কে অবগত হবেন।

Alhumdullilah. Allah has provided me with the opportunity to read this book. The exact discussion, the humble language and the arrangement of this book just melt my heart. I think this book has been able to touch anyone's heart. At some moment during reading this book I have just realized that my teardrops down to my neck continuously. This book will teach you a lot. Realize who you are and where you exactly belongs to. The depression, anxiety, fear will go away like magic and it won't come back if you will really realize the book and only remember that in this world nothing is ours and nothing will be. This book will say to you it's ok to be emotional, it ok to be the struggle of your sin or fear but when we will learn what is the meaning of life we have no way except return to our Almighty. This is because it is the only universal truth we will return to our Almighty. Further, the book will say to you, Allah is never concerned about our result he only loves our consistency. Above all, I want to say that, if you really want to start your journey to Allah or want to increase your Tawakkul or you are in depression this is the book which helps you to make you strong, steadfast your Tawakkul as well as you will find our Almighty with a different definition that you may not feel that Almighty is so merciful and kind like what you never think before.
