Valeriya Nikolaevna Kirpichenko [Валерия Николаевна Кирпиченко] was a Russian orientalist, translator, and philologist, specialising in Arabic literature.
Valeria Nikolaevna was the author of more than 30 books about Egyptian literature, including a two-volume work on modern Egyptian prose, translations from Arabic into Russian of many literary works of writers from Egypt and other Arab countries. Recognized in Egypt as one of the best Arabic translators in the world, who made the greatest contribution to the rapprochement of peoples' cultures.

من أجمل الكتب التي قرأتها، يظهر من دسامته أنه رسالة دكتوراة للكاتبة فاليريا كيربتشنكو التي صاغت تاريخ يوسف إدريس الكاتب والصديق لها بشكل سلس حيادي، يمتعك ويجعلك تقرأ كل ما كتبه هذا الحكّاء بطبعه بنهم غير مسبوق.
