A humorous and thought-provoking read. It's accessible and memorable from start to finish. I'm usually not a fan of the self-help genre as a whole, but this book was a different animal altogether. It's insightful and has lessons to impart for people of all ages.

This was an entertaining and easy to read self-help book. What I enjoyed most about this book were the anecdotes that provide familiar context to the life lessons contained in each chapter. The real-life experiences are easily relatable to similar experiences I've had in my own life. The back cover says "He's the friend you grew up with that eventually got his act together and became the go-to guy for advice." As you read through the book about the author's life experiences, both good and bad, it is easy to see how he has grown and matured as a person.

This was an excellent read. The content of each chapter really tied in with the quotes at the beginning of each chapter. The author has a way of telling a story, so that you begin to see a vivid picture of what he is trying to convey. The lessons he learned are pretty interesting and encouraging. I would recommend this book to people because I believe they will find some lessons the author has learned that they too can apply to their own lives.

Having read dozens of inspirational and self help books over the years, I can unequivocally say that this one is the best. It's not a dry manual about overhauling a screwed up life overnight. It's about learning to mentally catalogue and utilize knowledge from life experiences from childhood through adulthood. It sets forth the importance of doing the right thing, even if no one is watching. Not a good read. An outstanding read.

This book's subject matter is well outside my normal genre but I used to know the author so I decided to get comfy and listen to it via the Alexa app. I wish the title was "A Love Letter To Leah: My Autobiography" because I would've read it so much sooner. I do not agree with some of his advice but as soon as I stopped thinking of it as an inspirational instruction guide and started thinking of it as an autobiography I was thoroughly entertained. JP

Content warning: read this strictly as an autobiography. This is Seth's story and the lessons he's learned the hard way.
