Hilarious, true stories from a professional Santa Claus!
For the past twenty-five years, Kevin Neary has lived a double life. He even went as far as wearing a disguise and altering his appearance. Yes, it is true that during this time, he played the role of Santa Claus for a local department store.
In Santa Claus Confidential , Neary describes his experiences working as Santa and the interactions with the clever children he encountered. Some of the many hilarious topics he discusses The perfect Christmas gift, Neary’s delightful tales are bound to get you feeling the holiday spirit!
Secondly, there weren’t 150 different stories. He may have mentioned 150 kids and mentioned something they said or did.
What I did find interesting was how he was able to come up with great answers to tricky questions kids asked. How he always thought ahead with his responses and didn’t make false promises that the parents may not have been able to fulfill.
This was a quick read with some fun anecdotes, a couple made me laugh, the rest was meh. I did find it interesting to read about all the things one encounters when playing Santa- all the kids' comments and questions were so fun to read about. I would never have thought about some of the things that go into being Santa, so that was a fun perspective and I enjoyed thinking about that while reading.
I thought when I seen this it would have me laughing my socks off sadly it did nothing of the sorts..good kids stories but not written in a way that had you laughing about them sadly
I had high hopes for this book and it didn't really live up to them. The stories were things you would expect and I guess I was looking for the unexpected.
