Wish it was a bit more empathetic/trauma informed. Cute idea, sort of crude execution.

The book and the artwork were adorable, but I had high hopes for quality content in a cute, fun vehicle.

A fun, witty book about drama in your life; who, how to avoid it, etc.! I encourage my friends to read this and think about who in their lives this would fit. LOL! And the illustrations are adorable.

We do in fact know people in our lives or people passing by that want to start drama or carry it on like a grapevine because they need some attention in their lives but for what good reason?

I think we've all got a little bit of negative Nancy going on from time to time and for some I think if they're in a dramatic setting they will talk about it not to stir a drama pot but because they need a release but then there are others who make up or stretch things to make themselves look better but really all they're doing is making themselves look even worse. Then there's others who do it because they get some sort of satisfaction from other people's misery.

The friend personality test is comical. The book also has a list of the most common sources that we'll find the drama in our lives and ways to deal with them.
All these are explained in a way that we can understand and they are all pretty much common sense anyway.

Basically it boils down to letting drama queens problems roll off you and not taking anything to heart. Weed the garden so to speak. You don't like it when weeds invade your garden so you pluck them out. It's the same thing with the drama queens, pluck them out of your life and you'll live a less stressful life.

I'll admit I hate life coaches and am waiting for the life coach trend to end so I can stop hearing about it. It's just another version of using psychics or astrologers to control your life and steal your money. I just really don't understand why people fall for any of those things. Life coaches are nothing more than people with great and perfect lives telling you how you should live your life according to them and paying them thousands. I remember the days when a life coach wasn't called a life coach they were called bossy or controlling and usually made you feel terrible by comparing your life to others constantly.
Obviously the llama life coach in this book failed or you wouldn't enjoy my dramatic rant. I think the problem is that some of this advice is stupid and unrealistic for many people who are reading this. This book is probably better for a younger person to learn a bit about drama and the dramatic people around them. It was in my daughter's library pile so hopefully this book helped her better then it did for me.

A quick, fun read through the expertise of an ultra chill llama that calls YOU out on your drama!

As someone who struggles with maintaining relationships with folks who are toxic to me (and engaging in my own drama), this is the book I can go to to have a reality check. For counselors, therapists, and even really good friends who want to help a drama queen, this book is a great resource for folks who need to touch base with the nature of relationships, the impact “drama” has on your life, and the importance of self care. And instead of being the friend who tells someone to “chill,” you have a llama that will happily tell them that through the story and he will not be offended in the slightest.

The illustrations are adorable and it is a quick read.

The book is narrated by a No-Drama Llama named Leroy. Leroy is on a mission to "help" others lead a drama-free life.

The book is intended to be humorous. There were a few parts that made me smile, but overall, I didn't find it overly amusing. It wasn't the type of humour I enjoy.

I would have liked it more if there was legitimate advice with humorous aspects included for fun. To me, Leroy seemed really judge-y and a bit jaded... not quite the drama-free llama I was hoping for.

Leroy could use some communication and conflict resolution classes.

I really wanted to love this book, but was disappointed and left me feeling confused and irritated. My comments are similar to a few others in that the idea is fantastic, and I love the cartoon style of the book, but the actual message and ‘advice’ in the book was not helpful at all. If I had to summarize the overarching message, it is this… “end all relationships where there is a hint of drama”. This is not helpful or practical.

Just finished reading this book. The title says it all.
It's about handling dramas and drama queens around you and not becoming one too. Basically reminding you not to have unnecessary stress and be in control of your anxiety and such. The advise given by this no-drama llama is very straightforward and witty!
