I couldn’t finish this book. Got to page 109 half-way through. The sentences are constructed with redundancies. The situations aren’t accurately described. For example, the geopolitical politics surrounding their movements, transfers of money to the Yeshiva, the attitude of the secret police and Japanese society towards them, Rabbi Chaim’s involvement etc. The references to his writings aren’t sourced....
