The items we inherit are tangible symbols of what has gone before. Reminders of our family history, values, and relationships. However, such articles are often temporary. They can be lost, stolen, or destroyed. But the love passed down is a living thing - a permanent legacy that never dies. The stories in this collection all center around an heirloom. An artifact handed down from one generation to the next. Some are meant to protect, others to remind the character where they came from, or of the devotion handed down from the previous generation. Each of them is part of a legacy of love.
C.L. (aka Cheri) Roman, writes fantasy and sci-fi with a paranormal edge. You can find her at www.clroman.com and on Facebook. Cheri and her ever-patient husband live in the not-so-wilds of Northeast Florida with Jack E. Boy, the super Chihuahua, and Pye, the invisible cat.
I finished reading The Worlds Between Us by C.L. Roman last night and was pleasantly surprised by it. The prose is pretty and efficient, and the story is adorable. It's about childhood sweethearts finding each other again after a rough separation when they were kids. Now it's a couple of decades later and the more Jackson looks back on it, the more he realizes that some things don't make sense in the normal world. And who is that mysterious and beautiful new neighbor who walks out of what the super swore was an "empty apartment" and whom no one else seem to see but Jackson? Enters a world of magic tightly pressed against our own which is usually invisible...but not all the time. ^_^
Quick paced adventure and love story all rolled into one! Love is not bound by time and space and neither are these two people, Jackson and Maeve. Love and intrigue that goes beyond generations. C.L. Roman has woven her own spell of love. The ending left me wanting more and the bread crumb left was tantalizing. I'm looking forward to what I hope will be a sequel and maybe a series. Thank you!

Sierra has a huge problem, well more than one but at the moment her biggest problem is sound asleep next to her. What happens in Vegas really will stay in Vegas. She needs to get out of town and fast. Problem is her problem will follow her home, she has to hightail it somewhere no one will think to look for her. Crystal Cove, perfect.
Blake can’t believe he’s finally living out his dream and his BFF bride has flown the coop. He wakes to find her gone and no one knows where she’s gone. After some sleuthing and a random tip from a cabbie he heads to Crystal Cove.
All this chaos from a stupid bracelet, rich with family lore and mystery, pah who believes in this stuff. She has to put these stupid ideas out of her head, get a divorce and try to salvage what is left of her friendship before it’s too late.
Blake, with a little help from the Crystal Cove crew, sets out to show Sierra exactly what she would be missing by giving up on them. A sweet, sexy read about 2 best friends that realize their love has changed, for the better, and the struggle to hold on to that and have it all. 4 stars for this advance copy I received without expectation for review, all opinions are my own.

I’ve read some of the stories in this anthology, and each has been a delight to read. They are engaging and appealing, keeping you entertained from beginning to end.
In Tawdra Kandle’s “The Problem,” we visit Crystal Cove again and get a glimpse of our favorite characters from that series. It’s a wonderful and delightful love story. Sierra and Blake are charming and engaging, and their story is fun and entertaining. It’s a quick, easy read, but you will enjoy every moment of it.
In C.L. Roman’s “The Worlds Between Us,” we take a captivating look into the Fae and Human worlds. It’s an exciting, enchanting love story with a good vs. evil storyline. Jackson and Maeve are very interesting and appealing. Their story is extremely enjoyable and entertaining and will leave you wanting to read more.
I highly recommend this delightfully entertaining group of stories! Can’t wait to get back to reading more.
This review is only for Tawdra Kandle's story in this anthology
I've read most of the Crystal Cove stories, but this story can certainly be enjoyed on its own. While you will miss the history of these characters, we focus on two new friends and their love affair.
This story was a complete love story from start to finish. We join this couple of longtime friends and new lovers at the morning after. She may be eager to run away but he is 100% all-in. To prove his point, he runs across the country to show her what true romance looks like. There's a lot to overcome, but these two are definitely stubborn enough to stick it out! This was a fabulous standalone story that had me rooting for them the entire way.
The Key to Valhalla by Terri A. Wilson is a exciting paranormal thrill ride from beginning to end. It is full of many different exciting paranormal characters. The main character Kai drives a taxi for a company that is located in New York City. The author’s description makes Kai a beguiling character who is just one of many interesting paranormals sprinkled like gems throughout this story. The plot demonstrates what it might be like if paranormals really lived and worked around regular New York City people living their everyday lives. It examines how regular people are affected by but know nothing about the paranormal others living around them. Furthermore, it delves into Kai’s real purpose as a Valkyrie in New York City. It is her main job to chauffer Odin’s chosen warriors to the gates of Valhalla. This story begins as an ordinary taxi ride turned delivery to Valhalla’s gates but ends up being so much more. It is an exciting read from beginning to end for anyone who enjoys a good story with an intriguing paranormal plot twist. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Kai is a valkerie charged with delivering chosen souls to Odin. When she attempts to do so with Seth Daniels, there is a problem, and he is returned just in time to help her. Her key is stolen - and without it, she cant do her job - there is also a danger that it will get into the wrong hands. Will she get it back? What secrets are there hidden about her family? And what will become of Seth? Another brilliant work by a great author

I read the book "The Way You Drive Me Crazy" by Olivia Hardin. Lacy is tracing her family tree and finds out her great grandfather was a prisoner of war sent to America. On her way to learning about him she meets up with Luke and Aunt Betty. It's a good kind of crazy to fall in love. A lovely story about finding family and love. If the other books are as good as this one then this book set would be worth buying. I recommend reading this set.
Terri A Wilson “The Key to Valhalla” Kai is a Valkyrie and a good one in addition to it. Determined and with very big heart, doing good around herself not even realizing it. However not letting herself to be really attached to anyone. Seth is a cop, or should I tell was. Strong, with values and with great mind as well. Add to it family troubles, forbidden love, complot, heavy past, friends, Odin and everything else that you would not expect. Yea, that sums it up pretty well.
A well written set of stories each of them have their own merits. I am doing a review on The Problem by Tawdra Kandle = Sierra and her long-time best friend, Blake have gotten drunk and married in Vegas. But what they are not telling the other is that they have been in love secretly with the other person for years. How they finally learn of each other's feelings makes for a great story.
The Key to Valhalla by Terri A. Wilson is a great story I read. I really enjoyed reading this story cause I like reading about Valkyrie and I highly recommend this story to everyone who likes reading about the Valkyrie.

I think it's an excellent price for a set of six stories. And the stories are long! Sure, some stories are better than others, but it's a great way to know the style of different authors.

The key to Valhalla is part of a box set and this is the one I have read. Valhalla is where Vikings goes when they die. Follow one of them as they gain the key. See just where it is going to go
Six wonderful stories by six terrific authors who remind us our futures are molded by the past but not defined by it. The Worlds Between Us by C.L. Roman – This is a fun paranormal adventure with childhood sweethearts finding each other again and helped out by a gift from the hero’s grandmother. The Key To Valhalla by Terri A. Wilson – A terrific tale featuring Valkyries and other paranormal creatures. I loved this story and am thrilled there will be future adventures in this world. The Way You Drive Me Crazy by Olivia Hardin – This is a really sweet tale that proves we can learn from history. The Problem by Tawdra Kandle – Friends to lovers is always fun and this tale is no exception. I really liked Blake. Fate’s Melodie by J.C. Layne – This is a fantastic tale about finding your soul mate and muse in the frenetic world of the music business. It goes to prove the world is a very small place. The Sinful Agreement by Faith Starr – This story almost brought me to tears on more than one occasion. But boy was it good.
