A fost prima mea întâlnire cu cel care e, poate, cel mai mare filozof cleric creștin din mileniul nostru. Subiectivă afirmație, dar lucrarea sa despre adevăr pare mai apropiată de vremurile noastre decât de Marea Schismă. Iar cine urmărește evoluția filozofiei post-Toma de Aquino, va vedea influența pe care acesta o poartă asupra tuturor celor care i-au urmat.
