This book was an awesome read. It was intriguing, exciting & thrilling to read. It took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions & experiences, and it was truly believable to think this could be in our future if we don't hold things in check. This would make an awesome movie or mini-series, so I hope that one day that will become reality.
I listened via Audible and because it was the omnibus version of 12 books, I was really excited to read something of my favorite genre of that length. Also knowing that there were 12 books, gave me the patience to stay with the writing, assuming that each book would improve as I went along. That patience paid off. I recommend this book - especially the omnibus version. I'm not sure I would have stayed with the book in spurts.
Audible listeners: As with most audible books, I sometimes have to "hang in" with the narrator, unless or until I am in love with his or her voice. It was only until maybe book number six or seven that I realized I really could finish the book. This being Mr Kraus's first toe in the audio waters, I would really like to see another narrator be considered. I'm just one lady who will listen to all his books in the future with someone else tellling the story.
